Ashton Mercer has terrible quality…

Ashton Mercer has terrible quality clothing. When you need to exchange for a different size you will have to pay for return and shipping internationally. Which can be very expensive. I waited over a month for the replacement item and was told they are unable to ship because they were to overwhelmed with business.

AVOID as a Chinese scam

A con from China ! What they advertised as knitted is a print on polyester. They’ve pretended to be a London based company but cost me £26.60 to return them abs 6 weeks on no refund AVOID

I ordered 3 shirts that were advertised…

I ordered 3 shirts that were advertised as 100% cotton when they eventually arrived thety were labelled 100% polyester. To return then meant sending them back to China (China was not mentioned on their returns policy) at my cost. If they arrived safely they said I would then be credited with the purchase cost. At this point I was very uneasy about the chances of getting any money back. They offered me 10% refund if I kept the shirts, when I pushed them further they eventually offered 30%, which I reluctantly accepted.

Total rubbish and a complete scam

Total rubbish and a complete scam. I ordered three things. The material was trashy, cheap and the sort of thing a tramp would wear if they were desperate. Sizing completely out. I ordered large and got something that would fit a large 10 year old. I shall give them to the charity shop, but I doubt they will be able to sell them.

Absolute rubbish

Absolute rubbish, now in dispute to get my money back. They’ve offered me 15% to keep the item. I’m going to get in touch with Barclaycard and see if I can’t get a full return. DO NOT USE is my advice, annoyed with myself because I’m usually quite careful.

Trash clothing - lies it’s not ASHLEY MERCER UK - it’s CHINA

Trash clothing I ORDERED2 tops &’1 pair of trousers after seeing ad on instagram. Goods took 2-3 weeks to arrive .. why because they come from CHINA not LONDON. Rubbish cheap, rough thin fabric dreadful stitching. In fairness I asked for return label & then found out I had to return goods to address in China !!!! Was offered 30% refund to keep goods, which I accepted after a few e-mails of haggling & will give clothes to charity. I did get refund on my card but annoyed I fell for an absolute rubbish order of clothing via instagram - it’ll be a long long time before I ever order online again 😡

SCAM…Don’t be taken in by the positive…

Don’t be taken in by the positive reviews on the actual website…it’s a Chinese based page and a Total scam…ordered a dress and received notification it had shipped…followed the tracking for over a week and it went all around the uk, then over to Dublin!! I messaged them and got an it’s on its way response…luckily I paid by PayPal and put in a dispute and received a refund, which is just as well as never received anything.

This company is a scam…

This company is a scam Please do not purchase from them.
I bought a top from their UK website. It was very poor quality, think the poor end of SHEIN or Temu. They made it difficult to return the item by sending me many emails asking what the problem was etc. I insisted on a return address and was told I needed to pay for insure postage to China. Please do not buy from Ashley and Mercer

BEWARE!

BEWARE! Chinese scam company. Same as Sara-London. Crap quality. Shipped from China. Returns have to be shipped back to China for refund at your expense. These pop-up ‘quality stores’ are popping up all the time. They’re a con

Avoid Ashley & Mercer London — They Are Not UK‑Based & Don’t Stand Behind Their Products

I ordered a dress from “Ashley-Mercer.Co.UK London” in mid‑July. After weeks of waiting, I discovered it was shipped from China—and the dress quality was extremely poor (cheap fabric, bad stitching, and a slit so high it was unwearable).

When I requested a return, I was refused a return label and told I’d have to pay expensive international postage to Guangdong, China—at my own expense. They even suggested under‑declaring customs value, which is unethical and potentially illegal.

Their so‑called UK branding is dishonest and deceptive. They offered me a 15% refund to keep the item rather than address their own failings.

I’ve filed complaints with UK Trading Standards and the Advertising Standards Authority. If you value your money and time, do not buy from this company.
