From the initial contact with Claire, to Adam doing the survey, followed by further communication with Claire around the install we were confident we were going to be happy. Along came the scaffolder’s, and the installation team of Ste, Ste and Daly everything went like clockwork it was great to see such good team work. After the install we were contacted by Claire who issued all the paperwork we required. We would recommend this company 100% they are excellent. Thank you

What a great company to deal with. From my first phone call with Adam through to the installation of solar panels and battery they are a credit to the industry. No questions were left unanswered and when Adam wasn’t available Claire sorted things. The installation team are a great bunch of lads (easily bribed with coffee) and go above and beyond to ensure everything is done spot on.

Absolutely top notch service from pricing, planning to the installation and aftercare. Team onsite were brilliant and did a fantastic job over just 2 days installing everything, nothing was too much trouble and the kit has been working perfectly for 4 weeks now. Would highly recommend them.

Absolutely fantastic company. Adam and the team are the ultimate solution when considering solar installation. I researched the market for quite some time and talked to about 8 companies as soon as I started talking to Adam I knew I was in great hands. His knowledge of the industry is second to none. Even now after my installation in March he is stall available on the phone when I need to understand some technical info about performance he is always available and happy to help. I would urge anyone considering solar energy to speak to Adam before making a final decision and I’m sure you will instruct them. On a financial matter we would not go back to not having solar installation our household it’s definitely saved us a lot of money and also selling power back to the grid is amazing. Well done to ASK renewable solutions.

The whole team were excellent.

The installation team were really helpful, going out of their way to help sort things ready for the equipment to be installed (the electrician talked me through the various options for the installation, which resulted in a change to the location of the equipment from our initial decision).

I have a serious medical condition meaning I couldn’t move items in the garage to create space for the installation, the team just got on with it for me.

The installation all went smoothly, well from my point of view, it was sweltering outside and I wouldn’t have fancied being up on the roof and/or lifting heavy equipment in those conditions (good weather for a solar panel system though!)

Claire in the office is always quick to respond. All the relevant paperwork (certificates etc) was provided straight after installation.

All in all would thoroughly recommend ASK

Adam, Claire and the entire team made the complex process of solar installation clear and painless. Up front, the quotes were detailed but understandable and any questions were answered in a friendly and straightforward manner, which helped to put our minds at rest considering we had been bombarded with so many quotes from other companies “selling the dream”. Adam even took the time to allow me to compare and contrast setups, answering honestly and with integrity to his business and the recommendations he believed would be best for our requirements.

When it came to the installation, despite the complex layout of our house, the team were friendly, careful and professional in all aspects of what they did. Not only was it all completed in a single day, but the team took the time to explain decisions, ask opinions, and clear up any small details and generally showed great pride in the work they do. The apps and system were fully explained to us at the end of the day, even when the team must have been desperate to get home, something that further highlights the superb customer service ASK provides.

We would highly recommend ASK to anyone considering a solar installation and have already made the suggestion to family members.

Great Service way after purchase.
I bought a solar and battery system from them two and a half years ago and suddenly yesterday it stopped working. I phoned Clare at Ask Renewables and she was very professional and got their engineer to check my system out remotely. They updated the firmware but still the issue was not resolved. They then contacted the inverter company: LuxPower who again logged in remotely and worked out I had accidently set an incorrect setting... (D'oh!) which they corrected. All back up and running within 24 hours. Can't praise them highly enough. Fantastic company.

I had the pleasure in 2024 of meeting Mike from ASK Renewables after having a complete nightmare of an experience with a previous company that left us with a home with an undersized heat pump/rads & pipework and a hefty electric bill. I was at the point of giving up on heat pump all together but Mike turned that all around. The service received from him and other staff at ASK has been truly wonderful.

I highly recommend them. If you are considering an ASHP or solar these guys are definitely the best.

Fabulous service from the first phone call. Courteous, punctual, no hard sell. I felt I could trust them form the first contact, Very knowledgeable personnel. No deposit or lengthy waits for installation dates. All work carried out extremely promptly. This was very important for us because we were on a tight schedule with scaffolding due to be removed.
An extra shout out to Claire in the office who has been very helpful and efficient.

We worked with Mike on getting a heat pump for our Victorian terraced house in London. He's not only incredibly knowledgeable on heat pumps, heat loss and heating setup, but also just a pleasure to work with. Professional, clear and friendly, and always very prompt in response to our (many!) questions. We have had to pause on installing it in the middle of our renovation, and look forward to finishing the job with Mike and ASK once ready. If you are looking to get a heat pump, we can highly recommend them.

I have just had a 6kw GSE integrated System fitted on my brand new house.
All I can say is wow its been first class from start to finish and I can guarantee one thing your certainly in safe hands with Adam and his lads these guys are another level.

Ask completed a recent domestic solar panel, inverter and battery system installation at our address.
Installation team were really knowledgeable, friendly and professional- the overall job and system performance is first class.
Ed ( Technical) and Sam ( Office team) are both approachable and helpful people.

We had solar installed last September 22 with Adam and the team. No pressure initial quote, Adam happy to talk through different options.

Install went smoothly and without a hitch, team were excellent. Inverter went faulty (not their fault) a few months in and ended up being swapped out (Adam and ASK renewables quick to action wait was only for stock). Ever since we've been enjoying the benefits of solar, particularly in the summer month 4.7MWh later and loving the sunshine :)

Install was 20 x 395w panels, 9.6kwh of storage, Solar edge inverter and optimisers and Luxpower inverter for battery storage. Would recommend Adam and the team.

Just had solar installed by ASK. Brilliant experience from day 1. Enquired online an then had a call from Tom who arranged to come and do a much more detailed survey than the other companies I had to quote. Great report and no pressure to buy at all. When we decided to go ahead the communication from the office staff was great. Then had a call from Ed just before installation to suggest a slight change as he thought it would be better for us (and was cheaper). Then came the day of installation. 3 guys (apologies can't remember their names) 2 roofers and an electrician. All incredibly polite, pleasant, explained what they were doing. Extremely tidy and neat work, I had no clearing up afterwards. Since then had communication with Samantha and Tony in the office. Again both incredibly friendly and helpful. Tony helped me through what I needed to know and now booked in an hour with him to go through making the most of the app.

One of the best companies I have dealt with ever. The team are very professional. Writing a review because I had a solar battery setting question a long while after initial install and the team resolved it immediately.

I'm not given to write reports or recommendation for companies but they said their name is their business - So as an ex-teacher my report goes: respond to questions v good, answer phone calls v good, efficiency v good, workmanship v good, you will not be surprised A* I want them to do my sons and daughters houses.
