You charge 100% on your loans making it…

You charge 100% on your loans making it very difficult for the borrowers. I didn’t know the interest rate was this high, if I had known I would have never ever borrowed from this company. It took me a couple of years to pay off what started off as a $2000 loan that turned into a $3000 at the end.I advise everyone to make sure this loan is actually worth it.

Awful company ever since Centz took…

Awful company ever since Centz took over. Was a great company when Aspen had it. Now you can't apply for a loan or refinance with new company running it.

Aspen has help me several times in the past. For some reason, this time, the application process took 10 business days instead of three business days. If it wasnt for that it would have been 5 stars

My balance has not decreased even though I've paid off my loan

I received a loan from this company in August 2019 for 3K. I've had my payment of 360.00 auto drafted from my account for 21 months which equals 7560.00. The original documents show I had an obligation to pay back 7K; which I have done. When I log in to see my balance, it's still reflecting 3441.00 and the balance is not going down. I've never missed a payment as I mentioned this is auto drafted from my bank account. I will be contacting legal services as of Monday morning.

The worst!!!!!

Never ever use this Co. There are many other better high interest rate lenders that are much more workable with you during a financial crisis such as covid. I have other loans and they all worked with me. This Co? Right to a collection agency.

They are crooks. Many others out there that far surpass this slimy Co?

Predatory Rates and Practices

I knew the rates were bad when I signed up. But I was desperate, so I accepted the fact I would be paying my loan back nearly 4X. That's fine, we all know what we're signing up for.

Missed two payments early on due to financial problems, but otherwise have been paying on time for near two years. Little did I know, the 'fees' for those missed payments would be compounded by Aspen Financial at a ridiculous rate to the point that after the end of my payment term, after paying back nearly all the money in my agreement (again some 4X the initial loan) I still somehow owe about as much as the initial loan.

In my mind, this is a deliberate attempt to entrap anyone who stumbles on their payments in debt. Never have I ever seen such predatory practices.

I could no longer afford the payments…

I could no longer afford the payments because of a personal situation. I emailed customer service to revoke the automatic payment from my bank account. They emailed me saying it was revoked & the next day $320 was removed from my account anyway. This company is a crooked bunch of liars.

Let's be honest

Hey, they were there when I needed the money for my business. So for that I'm grateful.

Yet, I will never take out another high interest loan ever again... the high payment is killing me, but that's my own darn fault

Beyond Horrible

I wish I could give zero stars. The customer service is horrible. The guy I spoke to on the phone yesterday was incredibly rude.

Also, you don't pay this loan once every month. You pay it every two weeks, if you get paid bi weekly. I don't remember reading that before so I'm not sure if they changed it(a lot of people say they update their terms without notice) The money gets deducted out of my checking account automatically and I really don't remember paying every 2 weeks. Most loans are once every month.

Also, the interest rate is through the roof. I was desperate so I took out the loan but I can't wait to be done paying it off.

I got a $2,500 dollar loan but I'm going to be ending up pay 7,430 dollars back.
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE.

Waste of time

Had a loan with them earlier. Paid off in 3 months. Now when i reapplied with them , its pending verification for almost 2 weeks.Nothing on my income changed for the first time and this time. Today i received another email that my loan application is APPROVED and to submit required documents for verification. i submitted all the required documents they asked and they denied. Very disappointed with the way you are treating returning customers . Why would you even approve the application ? the documents i submitted substantiate whatever i mentioned in the application.You could have denied the application early on when i submitted my information online.

Do not apply unless you have lots of time to waste .

Worst Customer Service experience EVER!!

Worst Customer Service experience EVER!!! Paid on time then COVID hit. Tried to make arrangement to remain in good standing only to receive the run around, false promises and no one to step up and assist. Do not EVER use this place. All of my creditor worked with me and now I am starting to get back on track. Kudos to the companies that cared enough to understand! unfortunately this is NOT one of those companies! If your name is Natosha, Bill, Tony, Lucy, or Christina thank you for all of the false promises and aggravation.

Meanwhile later (weeks) I get a response below from Aspen.......
Thanks for the response below but not enough. Now you want to reach out and act like you care. Nope!!! No name just call the same darn customer service number and start the BS process over again with the same people. If you really cared you would have left a name and direct number in your post. Are you scared a lot of people will call? If you treated people right you would not hesitate to leave your actual name and direct line number!

I wish I could leave a negative 100…

I wish I could leave a negative 100 stars. I have contacted the better business bureau but that takes time. Why are you making it so difficult for Debt Management Counseling to pay you? I spoke to you on the phone on April 16th and I thought this was resolved!!!! They paid you $91.61 on May 5th on my behalf and you still have not processed the payment. They told me you won’t talk to them on the phone and they have sent you 6 emails with no response. I called you yesterday and your hold message says there is approximately a 1 minute wait....try more like 15 minutes. You might want to update the hold time.... and that was after I got hung up on after 8 minutes the first time I called. PLEASE COOPERATE WITH DMCC AND PROCESS THE PAYMENT IMMEDIATELY THAT THEY SENT YOU ON MY BEHALF !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
