After reading this review

After reading this review, I felt prompted to share my own experience with this shop. Earlier this year, I purchased a pair of ballerina shoes for my child, and unfortunately, they broke after being worn only twice. When I reached out to the store, the owners were extremely rude and dismissive, implying that the shoes had been misused rather than acknowledging the possibility of a defect. There was no effort made to help resolve the issue or offer any form of assistance. Although some time has passed since this happened, seeing others share similar experiences made me realise it wasn’t an isolated incident.

Avoid at all costs

I ordered dance shoes from Aspire Dance Collections today (11 October 2025), listed online as size 6.5. Moments after paying, I realised the size was actually a 5.5 ladies’, so I immediately emailed to cancel (within 3 minutes). They refused, claiming the item had already been “picked, packed, and sent at the post office” — which is highly unlikely to do within 5 minutes, especially on a Saturday AND after hours as their shop closed at 11.15 today.

Their later emails contradicted this, saying the order was still being “prepared,” and the confirmation message even stated that shipping could take a few days and I would be notified when it was sent. This was misleading and dishonest. I acted within minutes and reasonably but was given false information and denied cancellation. There were no rules stating you cannot cancel an order within minutes for an item that is still sitting in the shop.

As for you alluding to me being stupid, I did not ask the difference between 1.5 and 2 inches. I asked the difference between styles S0306 and S0307.

Very disappointing service — I would not recommend ordering from this business. The way they handled my simple request to cancel an order - since my daughter wanted to use her own money to buy them - and the way you've responded to my review says it all.

Lodged a complaint with local office of fair trading and you can call me a liar all you want, the time stamp on the emails are proof.
