By far the worst letting agents I’ve ever had to deal with after renting homes for the past 13 years. Unfortunately my old landlord made the mistake of selling her property I’ve rented for the past 4 years to this company everything all seemed fine at first promises of no rental change, nothing going to change within tenancy, new flooring. Then they took over no proper notice in regards to new landlord and tried an illegal rental increase with no notice and against existing tenancy agreement terms. Telling me nothing has changed within rent they will pay the £70 difference which makes absolutely no sense to anyone as to why they’d do that nor did it say they would pay it in tenancy agreement. Trying to force you to sign their new agreement although you’re not legally required to and then constant threats of section 21s everytime you reach out to them. You ask them to stop mention the new agreement and section 21s and they just carry on. You say you don’t want them paying anything on your behalf they say they’re going to anyway. And when you ask for proper evidence such as landlords name and address for benefit claim reasons they point blank refuse and try blackmail you saying they will after you’ve signed their tenancy. Every tenant is legally entitled to their landlords name and address as part of the landlord and tenant act 1985. This company thinks they can do what they want never mind the tenants rights! Heaven Duffy has not done anything she’s been asked to do or given correct information from the start. And James Walker who was supposed to deal with complaint did absolutely nothing gave out more false information and nothing was resolved and it’s still on going.

You do you’ve just got it under a different name aspire properties? Same companies, same owners all just doing different things from different company names. Same building same staff emailing from same company. Probably wise with what goes on. Companies house spills everything.

I suppose Chloe & Terri don’t work there either now?

To your reply: my complaint and my whole review is about them it’s them that have done all that. Doesn’t matter what they say now they still did all the things you’re not allowed to do.

Aspire are a great firm Jamie is very credible, my experience with them as whole in terms of communication honestly is positive, however I would be concerned on the investment of certain buy to let's, I purchased 2 and ended up unfortunately with many problems with the properties, although I anticipated some problems, they were extremely excessive, if your looking to invest by gaining capital there are better ways, I lost up to 40k on 2 properties over 3 years unfortunately. I would recommend having a full independent inspection prior to purchasing one.

I paid £7,800 for Aspire Property Group’s property sourcing service. The three properties I was presented with did not meet my expectations – the first was supposed to be vacant but was actually occupied, the second involved a potential rent increase without a formal agreement in place, and the third was overpriced with unrealistic rent. I also found Toyan to be quite pushy in encouraging me to proceed with these properties.

I decided not to move forward with any of the deals. APG have since refunded me the £7,800 in full.
