POOR QUALITY AND BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE

THE MATTRESS WAS POORLY MADE AND DID NOT MATCH THE LISTING. DEALING WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS FRUSTRATING AND UNHELPFUL AS THEY ARE RUDE AND DISMISSIVE, WILL BE REPORTING TO TRADING STANDARDS AND IF ANYONE ELSE WANTS TO JOIN - I WILL MAKE A FB GROUP AS THEY HAVE MANY FAKE REVIEWS!

AWFUL EXPERIENCE POOR QUALITY

BOUGHT A MATTRESS FROM ASPIRE FURNITURE VIA GROUPON . QUALITY WAS VERY POOR THIN AND CHEAP AND NOTHING LIKE THE LISTING. HAD TO UNROLL IT JUST TO INSPECT IT AND IT WAS NEVER USED.
MATTRESSES ARE NOT INDUSTRY STANDARD TO BE DELIVERED ROLLED AND THIS WAS NOT STATED ANYWHERE IN THE LISTING OR TERMS AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE. I HAVE ORDERED MATTRESSES BEFORE AND THEY WERE DELIVERED FLAT. IF DIFFERENT CONDITIONS APPLY THEY SHOULD BE CLEARLY DISPLAYED ON ALL SALES PLATFORMS.
REQUESTED A REFUND WITHIN THE RETURN PERIOD AND WAS WILLING TO RETURN IT. REFUND WAS REFUSED FOR A REASON NOT DISCLOSED AT PURCHASE.

To clarify, the response provided to you reflects our standard policy and is consistent across all customers, as it is important that we apply our terms fairly and equally. While the wording may therefore appear similar to other responses, it does accurately reflect our returns and hygiene policy as it applies to mattresses purchased through third-party platforms, including Groupon.

Mattresses are classed as hygiene products. Once the protective vacuum packaging has been opened or the mattress unrolled, the item is no longer eligible for return, regardless of whether it has been slept on. This is standard practice across the bedding industry to ensure hygiene and consumer safety. The requirement to keep the product sealed applies specifically because opening the packaging is the only way to unroll and expose the mattress, at which point it cannot be resold.

Rolled and vacuum-packed delivery is also an industry-standard method used by many manufacturers and retailers. It does not indicate inferior quality, and mattresses require a period of time after unrolling to fully expand and perform as intended. We appreciate that you have previously received mattresses delivered flat; however, this does not make rolled delivery unusual or improper.

We strongly disagree with the suggestion that information was intentionally withheld. Product listings and applicable terms are provided via the marketplace through which the purchase was made, and we work within those frameworks. That said, we do take feedback seriously regarding how clearly this information is presented at the point of sale, and we will continue to review this with our marketplace partners.

While we respect your right to raise concerns with external bodies, we must also be clear that we have acted in line with our stated policies and hygiene obligations. We regret that we were unable to meet your expectations on this occasion, but we cannot offer a refund where the product has been unsealed and no manufacturing fault has been identified.

Aspires Mattresses advertised in the MAIL SHOP

Following the newspaper advert in the Mail Shop for the above it said "for full information use
"sleep.mailshop.co.uk  " -  this I did, and it actually shows Term & Conditions and Returns Policy' but did not show Aspire's returns-refunds where Aspire's is more definitive as Conditions
viz No returns accepted if item unwrapped.
 
(HOW ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO EVALUATE THE GOODS UNOPENED. !!! ???

On-line purchasing has become common place as I am sure you are very familiar. Its strongly encouraged that customers carefully review product descriptions, firmness ratings, and returns information before placing an order, in particularly with comfort-based products, where personal preference plays a significant role.

We can appreciate that it can be frustrating being unable to assess a mattress without opening the packaging. However mattresses are vacuum-packed and sealed for customer hygiene and safety reasons, which means once the protective wrapping is removed, the product can no longer be resold. A policy created to protect customers. It is for this reason, our returns policy specifies that mattresses cannot be returned once unwrapped, a standard practice across the bedding industry.

We take your comments seriously regarding visibility of returns information when purchasing through third-party promotions such as the Mail Shop. While Aspire’s full returns and refunds policy is available on our website and at the point of checkout, we acknowledge your feedback that clearer signposting alongside partner advertising could help customers make a more informed decision before purchasing, a subject I am sure a company such as Mailshop are already aware of. However ,we will certainly pass on your feed back internally and review with our partners.

3 seater and 2 seater recliner sofas

I bought the tan 3 seater and 2 seater recliners in November 2025 and they have exceeded my expectations. They look fabulous and are so comfortable. You can change position with the touch of a button, not to mention can charge any device with the usb port. Would highly recommend based on my experience so far.

Sofa Bed Purchase

I bought the sofa 3 months ago to use in our spare room to allow for guests to stop over, but free up some space to use as a home office and hobby area. Arrived well packaged in separate boxes making it easy to get up a tight staircase, and was really easy to put together with minimal assembly required. It's a really comfy sofa and a well proportioned bed for occasional use, no complaints so far! The fabric is durable, no sagging cushions, and the extra storage is perfect for keeping all the bedding in for when it is needed. I'd definitely recommend this sofa to anyone looking for something similar. I'd considered alternatives from the well know Swedish retailer, but this is far better quality for the money!

NOT A GOOD BED. NOT GOOD CUSTOMER CARE

i bought a ottoman bed its been a few months and the metal sides are bending already, got in contact they said they will send parts replacement, they sent a parts list and asked what part it was, i explained I'm old and didn't put bed together but its the metal parts that go up the sides of bed. i get a message back from Luke Painter saying I do not know what part you mean. Very helpful. They make the beds but dont know what metal part goes up the side of the bed.

As you mentioned that you did not assemble the bed yourself, we would kindly recommend asking a family member, friend, or neighbour to review the instructions with you and help identify the specific part required. This will allow us to send the correct replacement as quickly as possible.

Great product

I bought it a month ago and it's one of the best purchases I've ever made. It makes a huge difference in the quality of my sleep. The mattress is very comfortable and helps maintain body temperature at the right level. I recommend it 100%!

Worst furniture purchase I’ve made. Do not buy.

Aspire Atlantic king-size end-lift ottoman bed bought via Argos. We needed it immediately as moved into property unfurnished. After unpacking and checking the parts, multiple items were missing. Aspire then ignored our email and we had to chase by phone.

They promised replacement parts on Thursday (giving a delivery window of 8am–6pm) so I took time off work, but nothing arrived.

The parts then turned up Friday and were STILL incomplete (headboard should have 10 pieces, only 1 supplied).

We tried assembling anyway due to urgency, only to discover the bed contains a mixture of king and super king parts (including structural components), meaning the bed cannot be assembled because the fittings don’t align. We had to disassemble everything mid-build.

Huge waste of time and we’ve been left without a bed for over 2 weeks.

Avoid Aspire.
