Horrible company to work for
Horrible company to work for. Used to be a decent place until new management took over and have nose dived it into the ground.
Pay doesnt work by experience, its who you know, how liked you are and who youre willing to give a good ole reach around to. The favouritism is shocking and not even hidden.
Complaints quickly make their way to management so confidentiality with HR is non existent.
Turn over is horrendous with little to no help/support.
They pile the pressure on without acknowledging your hard work. But are very quick to jump all over your mistakes.
They encourage an atmosphere that breeds a "that'll do" attitude or a "dont care, not going in my house" attitude.
There's no incentive at all to work hard or to gain more experience as you could be in there years with the most experience at your section.. and a temp will walk in and get paid the same..
Better yet, someone else will walk in and get paid more because they used to work there.
They pay for experience to come back as the disgusting pay forces their most experienced to leave.
My only positive would be the guys who work there on the factory floor. Theyre mostly all sound. But that'll be changing soon as theres many on the verge of walking out due to the abysmal management of the place.
Terrible experience
Communication is spotty at best. Estimating process is unclear. We paid a fee of more than $800 just to get a technician to diagnose the problem. We never got an estimate for the work itself, and discovered as we were about to schedule the repair that there would be a second charge of +/- $4,000 for that. We never received a quote for repairs, although the customer service person we talked to claimed we had sent a "signed estimate." We terminated the relationship and will work to find another solution. Not a good experience at all.
Linus L2 flag ship is very bad
Linus L2 flag ship of company in connected locks ( 2025 award winner according to them ) is bad product plastic literally fall apart after 3 months and while under guarantee
Contacted Yale France but their after sales services is even far way worse than their products.. going to BEUC
Asinine Assa Abloy
Assa Abloy's pricing is absolutely asinine. The little black covers on the outside of the lock end up being $20.80 ea. (w/tax, s&h) It would be easy for a plastics company to make a similar product that would fit and perform perfectly. VingCard is going to cut their own throat and I can't wait for the day..
Money hungry company
Money hungry company. If you have a hotel avoid assa abloy at all costs. They don’t care about customer service they just care about charging them high fees associated with their products
massive decrease in build quality
I work in a high security agency, where we have thousands of locks. And I'm sick and tired of assa rapidly decreasing quality while getting more expensive each year. assa, your new products suck! Today i measured and inspected two high security locks in the same price range. one from 2006, it never broke. 25 percent more material, stainless steel, brass bushings, no shitty bus for communication. the other from 2022, broke 5(!) times already, cheap galvanized crap steel, no brass bushing, wobbly. and its the same with all their products, no matter what the, tell you. Its all "cost optimized" for their f**" shareholders. and they constantly lie to my face, blame the customers, deny everything.
Buyer Beware!!! DO NOT PURCHASE VINGCARD!!!
Assa Abloy’s new construction sales person Oscar Trevino is a lying low down snake and should not be trusted!! I would not ever give them any of my business because of his inflated prices and lack of support after you purchase their product!!! Please purchase another brand!!
Fantastic service.
My wife in her enthusiastic vacuuming, broke the winder on the window extender. I wrote to the company requesting the broken part. Danial replied that they could only provide them in lots of 50, but as they had one lying around the office, he said that he would post that one to me. A few days later 2 arrived. These items were sent promptly and free of charge. Kudos to Assoy abloy ! Sadly this level of service is not seen so often these days.
Assa ABLOY South Africa nightmare
Assa ABLOY South Africa - what a nightmare. First they fit the door the wrong way around causing a massive disturbance to our security throughout winter. We begged them to fix the door- it took about 4 months. The door stops working from time to time and makes strange sounds. Over the weekend it literally fell apart and we are still waiting for them to come and fix our front door. They clearly are not concerned for our safety either.
First in class
Great company. A true leader in innovation and service
I’ve never seen a company come into a…
I’ve never seen a company come into a workplace to do their work and install their locks, yet use our equipment to tote things around, leave their boxes everywhere and don’t even clean off our stuff with their trash and then not even return things to where they were, and then we have locks that would not latch at the hotel, we called them up and they said it’s our problem, just awful
ASSA ABLOY NZ: Leadership Failures Despite Helpful Support Team
I’ve had an incredibly frustrating experience dealing with ASSA ABLOY NZ, and it’s been a nightmare from the top down. Despite the customer service team being very helpful and clearly just as frustrated, my requests were still ignored after numerous phone calls and emails. It’s apparent that Brendon Haig, one of the top executives, has completely failed to support his team. The lack of leadership and accountability is shocking. This has to be one of the worst companies I’ve ever dealt with. The front-line staff try their best, but without leadership support, it’s impossible to get anything done.

Having made an initial enquiry to this company by phone followed my numerous (unanswered) emails I conclude that this is arguably the worst business I have ever contacted….
Being inept at dealing with an enquiry is one thing, but ignoring repeated requests for a response shows extremely bad manners and abysmal service. Should have read their awful reviews before approaching…….
One of their drivers in a service truck…
One of their drivers in a service truck cut us off in traffic. After we gave them a piece of our mind at a red light, since it was a genuinely crappy thing to do. After that they brandished a fire arm at us. Company probably is trash just like their service people I would assume. We called the cops on the driver and saw them pulled over shortly later. Thank you Connecticut law enforcement.
Lock replacement
A lock on my door jammed and I contacted Assa Abloy. Unfortunately, I was unable to locate the invoice, but after showing when I bought the house within the warranty period, they couldn't have been more helpful. What a great company!
This equipment is absolute garbage...
This equipment is absolute garbage and their service unit is a rip off. I have two 3 panel sliding doors for my liquor store and they are inferior products. In the 2 years of use i have had to change a part called a T-Block many times. Each service was $250 plus for changing a $22 part that took 6 mins tops. The final bill I received from them charged me for 2 hours of travel time and 1 hour of service time for a grand total of $624. What an absolute scam. BUYER BEWARE!!!
Program included (NOT)
I got a USB programmer from ASSA ABLOY and it said software included. Could not find any software when I got the USB installer. Got the information that I need to buy another software and in that software you got the USB programmer software for free. So I get it for free if I first pay for at software that I dont want. I feel really scammed. Payed over 300 Euro for a programmer that is worthless if I don´t pay like 2000 Euro for that software. Buy Yale locks instead!
Can’t get them out to service one of…
Can’t get them out to service one of their doors despite previously having no issues. Agreed to over 100% increase in a one off annual service charge of over £400, and still nothing. Nassau appears to have been taken over by (July 2022) ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems who are uninterested in Nassau’s installations. They try to sell you service plans which are no good for landlord inspections between tenants.

Do Not Use This Company! Worst customer interaction I have ever had!
Absolutely dreadful company to deal with. I had initial dealings to request a new control pad fitted as ours had failed, had to pay £570per hour for someone to come out and confirm it was fault (I already had told them it was) Then took a further 2 weeks of chasing to get somewhere, eventually got a quote of £2500 to replace the failure and all told 14months of waiting! Not one person treated me like a valued customer and too many employees still working from home!!! Do Not Use!
It was Assa Abloy in UK, formally Nassau Industrial Doors but they now carry you name unfortunately for you.
