Warning. Don’t buy through this auction.
Bought a motorbike for £6000 online, paid the money, no contact since and can’t get my motorbike. Won’t answer the phone or emails.
Have contacted my solicitor to take this forward.
Absolute disgrace of a company. Stay Clear!!

Awful company. They never answer the telephone and never reply to emails! I was going to buy a car from them but - as they recommend in their t&Cs - it is best to view the car first. But it's impossible to arrange a viewing or to get any information from them. It's no surprise cars just stay for sale on their site for months with no bids. I have bought from another auction house now - one that answered their phone and let me view the car. I would not buy or sell with this company.

I purchased a mini digger through Asset Auctions. So not a small investment, It was also 250 miles away from where I live so didnt have the opportunity to inspect before hand! There were a few issues - On my part - bank werent happy i hadnt seen it and transport etc. The team were really patient and accomodating and what I got was fantastic value for money, a fully functioning digger! Thank you Asset Auction.

Bought a farm vehicle Monday 25/01/2024 after tc to confirm below reserve from live auction bid Sunday was successful. Gained invoice quickly and good communication with call made same day as email sent requesting.
Was concerned about 3 below scam reviews and choose to go briefly check out with everything as said and vehicle delivery arranged and for and happened on Thursday 25/01/2024, now with me.
Very happy with my purchase and communication with David and delivery company he used.

FRAUD! Avoid them unless you like loosing your money.

Paid them almost £6000 for equipment over 2 weeks ago and they don’t respond to emails. Their phone is just a voice mail.
I have to report them to authorities and take further action now to recover funds.

Update.
After 3 weeks and many emails, I was given collection address.
However equipment was not working with major fault, but advertised as running and working. Waste of money and time.

Do not buy from this extremely dishonest company if you are outside the UK, they charged me vat on a commercial vehicle which was supposed to be refunded after proof of export was sent to them.
We did that but they still would not refund it.
All paperwork was correct, they even agreed to send it but never did and then just ignored me.
Excuse was because of covid restrictions they weren't in the office but would sort refund as soon as they were but we were trying to get the refund from January 2020, we before covid restrictions.
Nearly 4 years later still haven't gotten anything back.

Asset auctions are brilliant.giving the public/and trade chance to buy vehicles and goods at a price the buyer wants to pay..
If compared to forecourt prices they are greatly under priced giving the buyer plenty of lea way to improve said vehicle/item to show room condition.
I then read keyboard warriors trying to discredit a hard working team who have to deal with dreamers.moaners tyre kickers..
If you want new...buy new..don't buy used then compare to new..
I believe they are a great team..
I highly recommend using asset auctions and long may they continue doing a great job..

Recently bought a 3 ton digger of these guys, easy to deal with, paid straight away and collection details were given, digger is as described, ‘RUNS, TRACKS AND DIGS. Needs a few bushes replacing but that’s to expect of a 2008 year machine. Sound like most of these reviews are from end users and don’t know how an auction works. You take a gamble at auction. Please to deal and will buy again in the future

These people are con artists, descriptions are lies (not working when they said they were) and they will threaten to sue if you say this to them. AVOID

Update: After taking this con artist Nigel Priestly (not called David as he pretends) to court we won and was awarded costs of nearly £10k. This took nearly two years. Nigel took us to court to force us to buy a mower that didn’t exist (already sold to someone else). The courts have since made him give all of this money back plus costs for this con. Avoid at all costs as he seemingly owes a lot of people a lot of money.

Won an auction, demanded immediate payment via BACS the following day which was paid. Was charged for delivery and haven’t heard anything since. Haven’t responded to emails, voicemails.
UPDATE: my item has just arrived. Terrible communication.

Terrible service sold a caravan with misleading photos and completely rotten and not road worthy currently going through court to claim money back, videos and photos were obtained to show the damages and currently going through courts

David was helpful and prompt in replying to my questions and concern. He even allowed me to leave the car there for over a week without a charge. The collection was easy and the car looked very good, as described. The car was advertised without logbook, But David managed to get me a logbook.

The only thing is the tow ball/hitch was advertised with the car, but when I pick it up I realise it has been removed.

Fully professional company. Operating as it should. Good contact, items described as good as they can be.

Absolutely brilliant company with excellant service. I was looking to empty our warehouse of all our event equipment. The team at Asset Auctions were more than helpful and we acheived a really good uptake for our items.

I cannot rate Asset Auctions highly enough!! I recently purchased a hot tub that was described as 'Warehouse Clearance' through Asset Auctions. On receiving it, the hot tub was clearly second-hand, damp, moldy and most of the components were missing including the lid and the pipes that connect the pump to the tub. I contacted the seller and he just said contact Asset Auctions referring to their T&C's which he was obviously intending on hiding behind. I spoke to Asset Auctions and they couldn't have been more obliging or helpful. They were not happy with the traders transaction and refunded our full costs immediately (including theirs). You worry about getting caught out like this when buying from an auction site but this transaction has filled me with confidence to bid on future lots.
