Health/sick insurance

Health/sick insurance

You would think it’s straight forward. You insure yourself and if you will be out of work more then 30 days using your savings you can make a claim and the will pay for the next months of your leave. Made a claim which still is in the review send them all the papers they needed on their claim but now I got information that they will denied until I will get my MRI scan done which can take months. So it’s not important that you were off work 2 months you have all the evidence from your GP and your employer. Important is the MRI which doesn’t change the fact that you got back to work and the outcome is not relevant to your claim.

Don’t waste your money find a company that has a simple straight forward system that will be send to you on paper. With this bunch you will lose your legs but they still will wait for some evaluation that won’t bring your legs back. In the mean time you will starve to death and bank will claim your house.

If the outcome next week will change I will edit my rating but I don’t think so.

I have bought an extended warranty on…

I have bought an extended warranty on my appliances through assurance and the first time needing them has been awful!!! First they set me up with a company you cannot get ahold of someone to speak with(sear). They missed 4 appointments, had one guy show up after an all day appointment time, that tried to scam me out of $150, was cussing on the phone with another employee about how he needed to go get his kid, when he was the one late, and left my washer full of water and told me to get it out or it would start to smell before they would be able to get back to work on it. After all the issues I called assurance and they said they would find me another service provider. I asked about the parts they had sent to my place. She said she would take care of it on they're end and to let the new company know what the old company had said. Well, assurance didn't cancel the appointment with the old company and they wanted the parts. I told them what I had been told and. They call a representative at assurance. This guy was not customer relations or even trying to be told me he would cancel my service if I didn't give the parts back. As I tried to explain that's not what the other lady told me he said he didn't care. But, if he hung up the phone without me giving the parts back he would call had cancel the service with the other provider. I asked to speak with a manager and he said he was not customer relations and there was no manager for me to speak with. I think these men acted like this because I am a disabled woman on my own. I don't think I want to continue to do business with them

I wish l could give them -5 star

I wish l could give them -5 star. Assurance is one of the most unprofessional and incompetent consumer companies l ever dealt with. Please do your own research. With 1.2 star rating l don't believe they are still in business.

Amazing experience

The gentleman that helped us was amazing! He explained everything in details & answered any & all of our questions about the difference in Whole & Term insurance. Helped find one for each of us (3 people) that we could afford & would give money for final expenses & money left over for our loved ones. He also helped us with health insurance - finding better health insurance for us with better benefits. We will be using them again if we have to & will be recommending this service.

Expect to learn the business and move on…

Expect to learn the business and move on. I worked 2 seasons(years) until I realized this is not a stable choice if you have financial obligations (Mortgage, food, insurance, bills………. This is only an opportunity to learn the Medicare business without having to buy leads, source business, involve your sphere of influence…... Do not quit your current employment or career. This company will unexpectedly change pay structure. You will need Morse code, Braille and Sign language to understand pay structure however you must attest that you have a clear understanding.

If you do not work 45+ hours every week your pay will go down the next week. One week you make 120 per policy the next week $25 per policy. The average you will earn is 75 a policy. Learn the business and move on.

It is almost impossible to close 3-5 per day. They will not “Allow” on the lines after January.
Less than 10% of the team of 100 average 3 per policies day. Expect to make 2500-3000 per month, full time. By the time you realize that you were mass hired to answer their bait and switch advertisings only for Medicare season it will be too late to switch due to “Black out”. I requested to be released in January but Assurance will not release me until 5/18/24.

Overall I learned how to sale Medicare. I am equipped to sale in the community and able to market myself because of my training. I developed the patience to work with my senior community and understand how to teach as well as listen to them about the complex world of Medicare. Priceless.

70% of your call will be seniors expecting a check, rent help, gas card, grocery card……… in which was promised to them “online”. ……... It is so heartbreaking. The guides will transfer bad leads in which will go against your “Conversion Rate”. = Income. They do not care about this and well aware of it. They will tell you if you complain you will be taken off the platform.

I am deeply disturbed by the deceptive…

I am deeply disturbed by the deceptive practices of this company, which have left me in a dire situation. Despite assurances regarding network coverage, it has come to light that the reality is starkly different. Upon seeking clarification and assistance, I encountered a labyrinth of customer service deflections, with repeated advisories to call back due to incessant busy signals. To add insult to injury, my agent, Brandy Walker, has become a ghost since the sale was finalized, rendering my attempts at resolution futile.
The most disheartening part? I explicitly communicated my healthcare needs to ensure the inclusion of my doctors within the network, only to discover they are not covered. This oversight—or rather, deliberate misinformation—has not only resulted in a colossal waste of my resources but has also placed my health at risk.
This experience is a stark warning to others: placing your trust in this company, as I unfortunately did, may lead to significant financial and emotional distress. The indifference displayed towards resolving customer issues is alarming, and the transparency of information is clearly not a priority. I urge potential customers to consider this cautionary tale before making a decision that could lead to similar despair.
