Awrongful dishonest disconnect.ssurance wireless disconnected my…

Assurance wireless disconnected my service byistake and blamed me for it .when I tried to make a phone to my job it went straight to assurance wireless .they tolde I no longer qualified for their service they said that I tried to change my service to another provider.tjays not trie .then they told me the only way I could use assurance wireless is if I did a top up with them I had to add $5.00 toake a call or text so when I tried to add the five dollars they took almost $15.00 off ofy debt card I only got to make a half of a call them the fifteen dollars was gone
It was suppose to be a free service that ended up with me having to pay
And pay more then I was told I had to pay and didn't even get to finish my important call
When I told them that's how I worked was with my phone and my boss was going to fire me because I couldn't work without a phone they tolde that was on me .it was not my fault they disconnected my phone .it was their fault.i had nothing to do with it they blamed me to save their necks .

Assurance Wireless improved…

Assurance Wireless has some terrible phones and overseas representatives. I called to complain about the Shok phone they gave me. During the call, the phone did everything I complained about- poor voice quality, phone automatically muting, delayed message retrieval. They said although the phone is under warranty, I must pay $20 to get a new phone.
After 4 separate calls and complaints over 11 months, Assurance finally sent a better quality phone at no cost and included a postage paid return envelope to return the defective phone !!

I can't make outgoing calls anymore or get incoming calls and now Assurance wants $80.00 for anew phone

I cannot make calls or receive calls anymore on this garbage schok phone. They tell me now it is going to cost $80 for a new phone which was originally free. I got tossed around by a woman named Camille who then gave me her supervisor by the name of Inno and then I got disconnected. Safelink gave mea ACP number to give them and they don't understand what I am saying. Please go elsewhere for a phone Assurance is as lousy as can be.

Confusion with ACP

I called to cancel my application as I discovered I had not understood properly about ACP. I spoke with a rep for 25 min, and she kept repeating the wrong info back to me. I asked to speak with a supervisor, that took another 25 minutes. When I spoke with the supervisor about the issue and MY confusion with ACP, she hung up on me. I'm a polite person, many reps tell me that. I don't know why she hung up, I can only guess that she didn't have a clue what to do in a real situation that required some expertise!

I would give a zero rating if it were available. The customer service is the absolute worst I have ever run across. I have worked customer service businesses for nearly 25 years, and this is the worst. I am usually understanding and helpful when I call customer service but this one was terrible. Long story short I dropped the piece of crap phone they sent me as my phone at the start of the process. It was terrible. It would not turn on half the time or work half the time like it should. I finally bought a new phone in late November and tried to get my phone activated. I called and was told to call back in 2 weeks if he didn't work. It didn't work and when I called back it was horrible experience. I went through extensive troubleshooting every single time I called. They sent me a new SIM card which also did not work. Switched my service to lifeline and my phone was up and running within 2 days of getting the SIM card from them. I also was able to import my phone number. Insurance wireless is the absolute worst company I've ever dealt with. Ever. Avoid using them at all cost.

Don't you get assurance wireless. You will regret it. I Melissa W

I also would give assurance wireless a rating of 0 if I could. I can relate to most of the reviews given. I also had the same problems that they posted. Getting a replacement phone was frustrating and the customer service and could not understand most off them. Had to hang up and call them and fin is a piece of crap All of them because phones port kept breaking. Getting a replacement is more difficult. They wanted to charge me $69 for a replacement phone. Then they shut my phone off due to no use. I switched to true connect. I applied and my phone showed up within 5 days, The phone is not the greatest but better then they scum bags provide. I think they should be shut down. Bunch of rip off. After 3 years of the crap, I finally had enough.

Hard to Get replacement phone

Well, I'd say that I was really disappointed with assurance wireless after talking to Cust ser. The phone I was sent has a bad charging port and will not charge. It arrived this way and they informed me that to get a replacement it would cost 20 bucks. I refused to pay this for almost 2 weeks. I called to pay the 20 bucks only to find out that it's now gonna cost me 60 bucks. I can purchase a phone from em for that online. I've had this POS for almost 5 wks and haven't been able to use it a solid 2 wks. So I wanted to give a review based on my issue with them and that's the only issue I've got with em but 1 star is all they get from me since the last call to Cust ser...

Wasted over 20 hours on the phone with this company for my friend that had a brain injury and they totally screwed him. His phone quit working and went to get a replacement. They dropped the charge for the phone because of his limited income and he waited three weeks and still no phone. Called again and again and they charged him for a phone then as the phone was on the way, they dropped his service. Now he has a worthless phone and out his money

THEY ARE GREEDY FOR MONEY

They gave me a phone that was okay at first. But then it started to go in what I call screensaver mode. And it does it almost all day and it would happen when I'm playing a game or texting someone. And all it would let me do is restart the phone. And we called for a new phone and we asked for a new one but we would have paid for it. Don't waste your time with these greedy people. I'm going back to airtalk. Oh and they turned my phone off and now I don't have a phone until I get my new one from the other company. THEY ARE GREEDY.

Worst customer service ever. Their communication is garbage. When I first got a phone from a stand of theirs I was I didn't have to do anything once I was approved, I got a phone and life was good till they said I have to call lifeline and they cut my phone off. I than had to get a new account and said I'd get a replacement phone.. turns out that wasn't the case. I had to get reapproved and was told it would take a few days. Its been dam near a month and still nothing. I'm going back to safelink. No seems to care in tht company.

O* avoid customer service-waste of time

O* avoid customer service-waste of time
AW if they send email after email saying they are working on your issue they are just leading you onto
no where. Forward their email to the Public Utility Commission and tell them AW is collecting Fed money for the ACP and not using the money to provide you with a phone or phone service.
PUC helped me resolve my issues with AW
when AW replies with their nice letter of fake help
forward that to the PUC. Only by doing this did AW
do anything but keep denying I was eligible for ACP
Finally after receiving a phone and service AW
discontinued my cell phone service saying I was not eligible because my ACP expired. No it is still current.
PUC opened a complaint for me and told me not to email AW but If AW emails me again forward it to the PUC (Public Utility Commission) I wonder why AW has not been charged with Fraud. There are so many complaints against them.

I've had nothing but trouble since…

I've had nothing but trouble since Assurance Wireless switched to T-Mobile. Most recently the WiFi hotspot quit working. The first rep told me that I qualified for an upgrade free of charge because he couldn't fix the problem. That he would send an email confirmation with a case number. When received, I was to call back to order the new phone. I never got the email. When I called back a week later, no surprise, they didn't even have a record of the prior conversation. Said I could buy a new phone. When I protested, she said to hang up and restart my phone while she tried something else and she would call me back in 5-10 minutes. I'm still waiting on her call. I WAS a customer for 9 years. I'm changing providers because they simply don't care. They get paid regardless of substandard service and equipment.

I recieved approval for lifeline through assurance. They sent a phone that I couldnt send messages thru, had to talk and it wouldnt accept. Than I recieved a letter stating I could up grade with unlimited. I called they said approved right then. Three days later phone turned off and was told Id have to get a $10 card to talk and it would be 10cents a minute which would last one phone call. If I was approved for lifeline in the first place the GOV would be paying them. Now i have to. I am 77 disabled and have no phone. There co. is a scam!!!

Jokes…

My broken phone that was reported three months ago is no longer under warranty so pay 70$ for a phone that is not even sold anymore, it can't update or use my child's school app. I'm told paid 35 wait 2 months for a new phone or pay 70 for the same phone and wait two months.
Tried to over charge me after I waited three months for a new device. They offer out of date phones for triple. This is supposed to be a government life line. How about get some English speaking people. Not a single person there can speak fluid English it's broken and they don't even understand what we are saying. This company is jokes and crooks. They definitely work for Biden
