I have mobile phone cover through…
I have mobile phone cover through Lloyds bank. They asked me to send the mobile via the postoffice with DPD. DPD have lost my sons phone. 4 weeks on, still no phone back, i have to chase for updates as i hear nothing from Assurant. Absolutely shocking customer service. Cant give me a time scale as they are waiting for DPD!!!! Disgusting. Avoid this company at all cost.

Worst company about . Avoid at all costs , just look at the rating they get , useless staff and work pay pay out , they were willing to put my daughter life at risk in dangerous car
I have told you already you expected me to drive a dangerous car to one of your garages and I would not , you also would not pay out on the suspension despite it being on my parts list, you knew the car was 10 years old and you gave the warranty on it still , just look at the ratings your getting on here , 1.6 stars average, that says it all about how terrible you are

I have an insurance on halifax and I have made a claim through to insurace company for a broken front screen on I phone 13 pro and we have received back an iPhone SE,we have contacted the inaurace and they have mention that they have received an I phone Se and not an I phone 13 pro even if we have received the Device return form from them that states that imei number that we have made the claim is an iPhone 13 pro they still absolutely ridiculous and not recognised that is a mistake on their side
Și I will never ever recommend them and kalifax should check is well as as probably are thousands af people in this situation and ghet foolish by isurace providing company

Very slow to respond and update
Very slow to respond and update. Very disappointed with their customer service.
It took 3.5 weeks for my claim to be approved and phone sent out. I've used this company through Monzo insurance for 5 years without luckily ever having to claim. But when my phone was stolen, the claim was not dealt with in a timely manner, despite claiming the day of the incident, included a lot of detail, police report number etc with the aim to avoid any back and forth.
Each time I tried to contact, I either couldn't get through or they were still assessing my claim and then it said the phone wasn't in stock.

Rubbish inurance
Lost my phone and assurant contacted me on the lost phone number when I don’t have a phone and don’t have the replacement sim .Instead of calling on the number,or email i mentioned in the claim.and without contacting me ,they proceeded with a cash settlement which is utterly non sense.this is my first claim and I have been paying for this rubbish insurance for years. I am left with ‘find a phone myself’ with an amount which won’t buy you anything.totally rubbish insurance , service and communication.I have filed a formal complaint with my bank as this is totally unacceptable.

Your Protect your bubble insurance by Assurant is a JOKE !! 1 YEAR after purchasing an SLR camera and lens through Amazon in November 2024, I opted for the insurance that offers a no quibble repair, replace or fix solution for any reason. I have contacted the company numerous times and have been met with rude unprofessional staff who tell me "if you dont hear from us then your claim has been rejected"?? and to call them back !
How can a no quibble insurance fail? The camer lens was damaged and I sent through images to show this and was told it would be sorted asap, 1 year later no further forward. I will be seeking legal advise, and will contact the FCA..... stay away at all costs !!!

I filed a complaint, paid 100, waited for an email for 2 weeks, now they are asking for another 100, I went to the service they suggested, they only exchange for Chinese fakes

Not the best experience at all taken…
Not the best experience at all taken nearly 6 weeks to sort out. I've had to take a settlement fee less than what I had insured all because people do not listen. Sent me a reference quote that didn't match the device i had insured, I pointed this out multiple times that the specs did not match and noone was interested, not sure why I paid for the insurance as I'm now out of pocket as I was offer 72% of the claim total. All in all, absolutely atrocious service, and customer service did not listen, and neither did the manager. I don't expect a reply to this either, but people should be aware.

URGENT Do not use
Car went in for a repair, the garage damaged the car and as a result the warranty company refused to honour the repair. Gave them photo evidence of the damaged cause by the garage.
They will do anything in their power to not pay for the repair.
Garage gave a quote for the repair then denied giving the quote. If I ever get warranty on a vehicle again I will not go with these con artists.

Phone Not In Stock !
My phone isn't in stock so they have made zero contact with me,I have email twice and called numerous times. Every time they just say I need to wait another 1-3 days but nothing gets done. Surely if they don't have my phone on stock they have similar or newer alternatives to offer. Struggling with out my phone

Terrible experience
Terrible experience. My phone was declared unrepairable, yet Assurant kept giving me wrong information, broken promises and faulty replacements. I waited at home multiple times for deliveries and collections that never happened, and even received a replacement phone that did not work.
I have spent almost two weeks without a phone and have been told to keep calling them just to “double check” they are doing their job. Completely unacceptable service.
I have requested a refund of my excess fee and compensation. I would not recommend Assurant at all.

Stay well away from Assurant
This is the insurer Halifax rests its reputation on to provide mobile phone insurance. FYI, you will be without a phone for at least two weeks. They don't refund loss and only provide a replacement, after an investigative grilling. They simply don't care. Don't waste your time complaining. Just simply choose another phone insurer. Assurant is the lowest of the low. Stay clear.

My account with loydds will now be closed because it's not worth paper it written on due to these lot.

Supposedly repaired my iPhone 16. The back of it phone was smashed, replaced back of phone and a supposed new battery which is now running at 87% !!! Phone is only 6 months old. Awful service. When you complain they want you to return phone, which I’m reluctant to do as it took over 2 weeks to be returned the first time. Avoid

Extremely disappointing and…
Extremely disappointing and unprofessional insurance service
I submitted a claim after losing my phone, and the experience has been shockingly poor. The insurer has continuously delayed the process, repeatedly requesting unnecessary information — including full monthly bank statements showing all my transactions, which is excessive and highly questionable from a data protection standpoint.
Instead of resolving my claim, they’ve been asking for one “proof” per week, clearly to stall the process. This approach is unprofessional, disrespectful, and creates a feeling that the company’s main goal is to avoid fulfilling legitimate claims.
After weeks of delays, I’ve completely lost trust in their ability and integrity. Customers deserve transparency and respect, not endless bureaucracy and invasive requests.

Awful service
I lost my phone and submitted a claim over two weeks ago, providing every document they requested right away. Despite following up several times, I’ve received no meaningful response or update on my case. The communication has been extremely poor and the delay unacceptable — especially considering how quick they were to take my premium payments.
I expected a smoother and more professional process from a company that claims to care about its customers. At this point, I feel completely ignored and frustrated. I wouldn’t recommend this insurance service to anyone based on my experience.

Not worth a single penny
Have claimed on insurance twice through assurant. The first time got a new device in 12 hours. The second time I had a broken screen which has since been replaced and is very low quality, pixely, and I get messages saying it’s not a genuine part and can impact functionality.
When I rang up to complain all I got was “it’s in your terms it’s in your terms it’s in your terms” no resolution or attempt to do so. Have made a £1200 phone worth pennies due to the shoddy screen put on.
If you’re happy with bad customer service, slow repairs, and dodgy parts, use assurant. If not run for the hills.
Edit: The fact that when Assurant reply they don’t acknowledge any of the issues, just its “inline with terms and conditions”. Avoid!

If there was a way to give Assurant minus stars, or even zero stars, that's what I'd give this company. Extremely disappointing service, and not something I would associate with the reputable bank through which this insurance is provided. My claim was messed up in so many ways, the shortest way to put it is they didn't carry our a repair properly, accused me of damaging my phone when it was returned to me unrepaired, and insinuated I was trying to make a second, fraudulent claim for free, confusing their messages between saying I initially claimed under warranty and should have claimed under accidental damage when their complaint outcome letter shows the initial claim was made under accidental damage. For me to get the phone repaired, they said I'd have to pay a second excess fee, which there's no way in hell I'll be doing. Bad service is one thing, but when they record calls, despite my going through two levels of complaint departments, they clearly can't investigate complaints properly, because I was clear with them from the start about the claim details, and it'll all be recorded from what I understand, but they can't possibly have reviewed the calls properly if at all. I have made the bank aware, and will be taking this to the Financial Ombudsman. If the insurance wasn't part of my bank account, I'd cancel it.
