Misleading Parking & Poor Cleanliness

Misleading Parking & Poor Cleanliness

I booked a 3-day stay with A Star Stay for myself and my young daughter, and I made it very clear before booking that parking was essential due to my circumstances. I specifically asked if I could park on the driveway or directly outside the property, and I was repeatedly reassured that parking would be available and that a permit would be arranged.

I even provided my car registration in advance, and I have written evidence confirming that:

Parking would be available for my stay
I would not receive a ticket
If I did, they would “take care of it”
However, on the third day of my stay, I received a parking ticket. When I contacted the host, they suddenly changed their position and said they could not help and that the parking arrangement only applied to one day — something that was never clearly communicated beforehand.

This is completely unacceptable. Why would I agree to a 3-day stay with only 1 day of parking, especially after clearly explaining my situation?

To make matters worse, the cleanliness was very poor. The bedsheets were dirty, and there was hair on the bedding, which is unacceptable, especially when staying with a child.

Overall, this experience was stressful, misleading, and disappointing. I would strongly advise others to avoid booking here, particularly if you rely on accurate information about parking.
