Worst experience EVER!

Worst experience EVER!
The hotel Astor Oxford Street is SO digusting
We had the worst night EVER, sleeping at madrasses covered in rubber and 30 degrees with no chance os opening the windows, meant we were almost dying
Our son is allergic to rubber, so he couldn't stop scrathing and had trouble breathing.
We had to check out after one night, but then they wouldn't give us a refund for the last 2 nights
There is no way that we can recommend this hotel!

Hello Camilla,

We are very sorry to hear about your experience. This is not the standard we aim to deliver, and I appreciate you bringing it to our attention.

We use protective mattress covers for hygiene. If a guest finds them uncomfortable, we can add a fabric topper or look for a room move where possible. For warmer days we have fans in all rooms, and we can help with extra ventilation if needed. Windows have safety restrictors, and our team is always happy to assist to make the room more comfortable.

Regarding the refund, we must follow the policy attached to the booking.

Thank you again for the feedback. We would welcome the chance to host you again and provide a much better stay.
