AstroYogam is an ad-free Vedic astrology and Thirukanitha (Drik) panchangam platform available on Android and the web, built by Akilam Labs. Instead of generic horoscopes or ad-heavy pages, the platform runs on a deterministic astronomical engine. Every planetary position, Vimshottari dasha timeline, and panchangam limb is calculated using Lahiri (Chitrapaksha) ayanamsa, geocentric coordinates, and historical timezone data, validated against Drik Panchang. The app includes Ask Yogi, an AI consultation assistant in Tamil and English. Ask Yogi only interprets the engine's calculated planetary data, ensuring responses stay grounded in the actual chart. Key capabilities: - Daily Thirukanitha Panchangam: Tithi, Nakshatra, Yoga, Karana, Rahu Kalam, and Nalla Neram (anchored to local sunrise). - Birth charts: South Indian Rasi (D1) and Navamsa (D9) charts with Gochara transits. - Marriage matching (Porutham) and complete Vimshottari dasha periods. - Android and Web: Available as an Android app and fast web app with zero ad trackers and client-encrypted personal birth data. Akilam Labs builds and maintains AstroYogam as an independent, privacy-focused software product.
