The test costs a lot and the results were very general to be useful. For me it as like reading the diet pages in ELLE or Cosmo. Hmmmm!

The result is AthGene plus, a subscription based platform that gives customers access to a constant flow of new and improved categories for a more reasonable price.
It gave interesting information that partly was unexpected. Useful for that I have adjusted part, especially sleep habits.

I purchased the test to try this on myself first but as a strength coach working with elite level athletes, it's a great tool to help fine tune my clients needs. At a certain level of competition, every edge counts and Athgene can provide that. Preferred to the similar tests that focus mostly on diet, though I felt the analysis could have been more in depth, especially for a coaching population such as mine. Though many of the recommendations were didn't seem to have a full comprehension of what they meant. With a focus on performance and strength and conditioning for the athletes being tested, Athgene would have to provide recommendations for training before I would recommend the product to those working without a coach to interpret the results. Though that isn't meant to take away from the power of this tool. I will be using it frequently in the future.
