Excellent experience.
I am tremendously impressed by the service offered by At Home Dental and particularly in the quality of care given by Bob. As well as being highly professional, he is kind, patient and helpful in every way. I have never known a dentist to accommodate the patient in the way he does. I hope he will always be available to look after my dental needs. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Whilst it appears that the dentists are good (they are visiting my mother who has advanced Alzheimer's in her care home) and it's great to have a mobile service, the coordination with the office staff from an admin perspective is chaotic. The quotes are unclear - final bill is higher - and no idea what work has actually been completed. If I were there for the actual appointments maybe it would make more sense (they were supposed to come in morning for first appointment I'd discussed on phone as a hygienist appointment - and was assured it was a hygienist visiting - but they showed up in the afternoon and didn't do the hygienist clean; second appointment I was given a time and they came much earlier). I'm told the dentist is good with my Mum - but the coordination between the dentist and admin is dire. Every appointment (we have had four so far) has resulted in confusion which seems to result from poor communication from office staff in relaying discussions they have had with me. We agreed to split my mother's fillings over a few appointments depending on how she tolerated it rather than try to do five at one appointment. After first filling went well, I spoke with a dental nurse who said they should be able to do all the rest at yesterday's appointment and would let the dentist know to do as many of the rest as possible. From the billing, I think they just did one more - and charged a large fillings for a tooth quoted as regular - and added a service fee that wasn't on the quote. Given they are dealing with dementia patients and coordinating with relatives getting this piece right is important.

Excellent service. Receptionist took my call and explain all I wanted to know. We a agreed a date with time agreed 2 days in advance. Dentist and nurse arrived on time and were very understanding of my mother in her late 80s. Didn't require any special facilities, brought all that was required. Very affable team. Costs maybe more than my NHS dentist, but to be expected. No hard sell on what to do next, which I like. Down to us for next course of action.

My mother’s is in a care home and has not seen a dentist for many years. The service and communication has been excellent. So happy that her problem is being resolved promptly. Great service

Very fortunate to have found this company online covering our area. Bob visited, very polite, calm, respectful, treated us like nothing was too much trouble, explained everything, asked questions for mutual clarification, lovely manner, professional, sought consent from ill person that they wish Bob to discuss with myself, he made it clear boundaries are respected, so when a patient says no, they stop [unlike a previous bad experience] by different dentist. Extremely satisfied with the service provided and feel very fortunate to have had Bob assigned for the home visit. Shown invoice of work carried out and very fair, clear pricing. Outstanding service. The patient commented he is definitely in the right profession. Everybody should have a Bob in their life.

Have been using at home general for a couple of years now, I cannot recommend them enough, I am SO scared of the dentist but they are always so patient!

Bob visited my dad yesterday to extract a wisdom tooth. Dad is immobile and in a nursing home and has been in pain for some time with this tooth. It was a complicated situation and we weren't sure it was going to be possible as previous attempts at treatment had not been successful but Bob was absolutely amazing in the way he spoke to dad and explained everything that he was doing. He was calm and respectful of dad's needs. Once the extraction was completed Dad fist-bumped Bob and told him he was his hero! I can't thank you enough for this service, it is invaluable to people with mobility issues. We will continue to use the service for dad's dental health needs.

I am so pleased for my dad who is 100 yrs old on the 14th June 2024.Thank you for your kindness & caring during your visits to make his new denture which was fitted yesterday & just in time for his special Birthday Party at Bramley House & we all look forward to him getting a card with special message from King Charles.The care home are very proud of Dad many thanks from Christine Wright Jacks Daughter. xx

I cannot praise At Home Dental enough. They were accommodating and helpful initially when booking an appointment. Unfortunately the lady in a Care Home they went to see declined the treatment, however, they spoke to her and were able to ascertain that she would, for the time being, be ok with the few natural teeth she has at present. All of this was done with kindness and understanding. I was kept advised at all times and am so very impressed with their service.

They attended my house-bound elderly Mother at very short notice and dealt with her problem with kindness and professionalism.

A visit was made for my husband at the care home, as he no longer visits his NHS, though he never opens his mouth usually, the team were still able to assess his broken teeth, and make suggestions going forward. It was painless from 1st enquiry, quote & visit, the team are very professional and so reassuring when dealing with Dementia patient. Will book again easily if need them again. Feel confident in their professionalism.

I have used At Home Dental now for 2 years as i have anxiety which meant i hadn't been to any dentist for 3 years due to a previous bad experience. The team-in-particular the dentist Raoul and his assistants have made me feel relaxed and i now find myself looking forward to seeing them. I have had 1 tooth extracted, complex fillings, hygiene cleans, crown repair over the 2 years along with lots of advice, understanding and support. The price I feel is great value for money as they come to me in my home which suits my circumstance perfectly!

Both ladies made the experience relaxing and pain free. Well done to your amazing team as usual.

Had a wonderful experience with with At Home Dental this week. The dentist and nurse were friendly, thorough and efficient. I think it was the best dental experience I've had in my 72 years

What a brilliant service provided today by both Subuhi and Bolly from Home Dental when they came to Tiverton to see my 101yr old mother. Their outstanding care and attention together with their friendliness immediately put her at ease and their treatment was pain free and very professional. I would highly recommend this company.
