They have logistics and operational issues but they also have the opportunity to fix this up. I'm moving on to other supplier.

Edit: I've overreacted after about 1 month improvising with older beans that were previously rejected (because of excess roasting, but only this one in particular was like that - PERU - the remainder tasted good.

I've contacted them today by phone and they pointed out (correctly) that DHL had messed up my order shipped almost a month ago that never arrived. It looks like DHL lost my package in the last mile hub near my city. Atlas Coffee has the opportunity here to proactively monitor its own shipments to detect if they are late and take action, instead being oblivious to it and not doing anything.

The matter worsen because around 5 days ago I get charged again (for the next 2-week cycle), and got an e-mail from Atlas saying my order would be shipped the following day. To date I have not received tracking number, and I confirmed they had not yet shipped, so I was able to cancel and order a refund on this 2nd unsent order.

They offered me a $10 refund on my 4-week ago lost order, whereas I paid $15 including shipping. The phone person was cordial and really tried to help and apologize, but he confirmed Atlas has no means to proactively contact DHL to question what happened to their shipment to me, apparently lost 10 miles far from my house in their DHL hub for 2 weeks. Losing $5 for Atlas logistic partner mistake won't kill me, but my coffee-drought came to and end today as I got myself a different supplier. Maybe they will grow and improve their operations and the coffee's were in general good, not outstanding and not screamingly fresh, taking about 10 days, when everything works on time, from roast to your mailbox).

Original: Coffee beans is not really great, with some bags coming excessively roasted. The biggest issue though is they’ll charge you bi weekly for a supposedly twice a month delivery but they will entirely skip delivering anything at all while they provide minimum information of why / when / wtf is going on. There’s no tracking number, no customer support, no person answering e-mail. Avoid your headache with these guys, the only real professionals there seem to be the billing and marketing department. You can’t log in to their website to cancel the subscription. Invalid password. Reset password doesn’t work, there is no reset e-mail sent, to this point I think they are behaving as a Scam company.

Jump through hoops just for a bag of coffee

Received a six-month gift membership. First bag was seriously delayed. Now the second bag is supposedly on the way, but I am being denied access to their website to check on my subscription and tracking. Tried to reset my password, but nothing changed. I sent them an email instructing them to cancel the gift and refund my friend's money. Total ripoff! Not worth the hassle for a few bags of coffee!!

Disappointing Delivery Service

Disappointing Delivery Service - Repeated Delays Force Cancellation.

I've been a subscriber to Atlas Coffee Club for a while and initially enjoyed the service. However, the consistent and unacceptable delays in my coffee deliveries have forced me to cancel my subscription. A subscription service should mean regular deliveries, but that has not been my experience lately.

I've contacted Atlas Coffee Club multiple times about this issue. Their response? They blame the shipping carrier, USPS, and claim they aren't responsible for delays. This is simply not acceptable. It's their responsibility to choose a reliable shipping partner. Continuing to use USPS, despite the constant delays, shows a lack of care for their customers' experience. I'm tired of having to buy subpar coffee from the store or Starbucks to fill the gaps caused by Atlas Coffee Club's unreliable delivery.

It's clear from other reviews here on Trustpilot that I'm not the only one experiencing this problem. Atlas Coffee Club needs to take ownership of this issue and find a better shipping solution. Until they do, I cannot recommend their service. I've had enough and have found a more dependable coffee subscription. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere.

Terrible experience.

I signed up for a subscription on Nov 16 2024 to give as a gift to a family member for Christmas. I placed the first delivery date as Dec. 16th. We are now at December 28th, my family members have not received their gift. I have contacted customer support numerous times. They said they would send out another order. All order tracking is stuck at DHL the shipping partner they use? No one can give me any answers on when my family members will actually receive the product I paid for. I am very disappointed and full of regrets for purchasing a 6 month subscription. I upheld my side by paying for their service. They haven't upheld theirs. Terrible experience.

Ignored my 3 subscription cancellation requests

I placed the order and received it, that was fine. But I sent them SEVERAL emails asking them to cancel my subscription, and they never responded.

It does say in their FAQs how to cancel your subscription, but it is not located where they said it was. They appear to have hidden the subscription cancellation.

There is a way to pause it, but no way to cancel it. Extremely annoying.

Charged, said I never paid, all after I had cancelled

I will never order another subscription box to anything again, after ordering from the tea subscription, "atlas tea club", from atlas coffee club. I cancelled my subscription because money got a little tight, and I had to make budget cuts. They charged me anyways, and when I tried to contact them about it, I got an email saying that I needed to update my card information. I asked, how can that be?? You charged me! I don't want the subscription.

Now atlas is claiming they never received my payment, so they won't be sending the subscription box! So, not only was I charged for something I could not afford, and did not want, but now I won't even get it after I paid for it?!

Insane!

I tried contacting their customer service, they have been UNRESPONSIVE other than the initial email stating that I didn't pay!!! This couldn't have happened at a worse time, I can't afford the box, I DEFINITELY can't afford to pay for something I won't even get!!

Full of lame excuses

Ordered a 12 month subscription for my wife. First shipment was almost a week late. I got a lame excuse that their fulfillment center was running behind. Second shipment was also late. Received another lame excuse that a DHL truck caught fire and they had to refill the orders that were destroyed. I ended up cancelling the subscription. Both shipments sat in Austin TX for 4 days after the label was created until they showed as shipped. A good relationship cannot come from making lame excuses to a new customer. If you can't handle the current customer base, why accept more?

So far so good

I just started with this coffee club a couple of months ago. So far the beans they have shipped have been pretty good. I like that I can skip a month without penalty. Only gripe is it is a little bit expensive - $14 for 12 oz - not even a full pound. So, not sure if I'll keep the subscription.
