A perfectly seamless experience
Zack was fantastic to work with. He made the whole transaction very simple, straightforward, and his strategy for acquiring the domain worked like a charm. From an experience perspective, 5 out of 5 stars. It was amazing.
Which is why I only gave 4 stars.
I feel like we overpaid for the domain, the sellers came down way too fast, and I often felt like I was being sold on why we should be willing to pay the price Atom proposed and why the domain was worth it.
What I didn't get from Atom was them trying to hammer the seller to get the absolute best, lowest price we could possibly attain. As my representative, I would have liked to see that behavior more readily.
Atom is paid on commission, and so negotiating the price down only hurts them, so I can't fault them for this given the incentive. But I really do think we could have gotten the price down more. Maybe that's the price you pay for how seamless the experience was?
