Bought a corset

Bought a corset. Using the sizing guide, I ordered what I thought was my size. When the corset arrived it looked nothing like what it was supposed was enormous. There was no paperwork to return it. I tried to reach out to atomic Jane and was sent auto response. I was told no returns on undergarments. This corset was 150 dollars. It sits in a corner of my room because there is nothing I can do. Another hard lesson learned by buying off Chinese sites. AVOID THIS SITE

Atomic Jane

Atomic Jane
👎🏻👎🏻 (TWO THUMBS DOWN. SITE GLITCH. SHADY CUSTOMER SERVICE. FISHY WAREHOUSE PRACTICE.)

Though ,I adore the items from this site,I had a horrible experience with their website and their customer service.

I had moved before my last order. I'm quite OCD ,literally, mind you,so I typed in my new address and checked and stared at it a good few times before pressing to continue with my order. My address was correct. However, once I got my shipping confirmation it showed half my new address and half my old address, thus a NON-EXISTENT address (per the USPS).

I immediately contacted customer service about this and explained nicely and in detail what occurred. My address WAS typed in correctly and viewed many times before pressing to submit my order. All I can think of,is it must have been a glitch in their system. I even tested this out. I went back it and edited my address for my account and pressed saved.

It took 3 times for it to go through/be updated. I let them know about this,so they could tell their I.T team. I also know that it was NOT due to Google's autofill, because I had NOT updated that and also, because it changed to a non-existent address, which I've never typed in before.

Logically thinking, it must be a system/site glitch. Why would I have put in a non-existent address? That would only cause problems for me. They took no responsibility at all and were not going to look into this issue. They stated it's never happened before. Of course, even if...it's never happened before, does NOT...mean it did not or could not happen.

I went through hell with this company and dealing with USPS to correct this. I have ALL the emails sent to and from this company. The representative started out kind and helpful (before the glitch) and then was quite incoherent. She state things,I'd answer them, and then she'd act like she did not state them.

I replied to what she said... I'd even show her this with resending an email or a screenshot and she'd ignore it. She'd give me instructions, I'd follow them, and update her immediately ,then she'd act like she never said it and tell me something completely opposite of what she said. I even caught her in a few lies, where she'd say the USPS told her something or that I could do something and I'd find out it was untrue, update her,and she'd change her story.

In the end I only got 2 out of 4 items. 2 items she...instructed me to have returned to sender from the post office that was out of town (since the address was incorrect),I did so,updated her,and then she said one could be,but the other item could not,and that the warehouse would destroy the other item when they receive it and that it could not be returned! Mind you the most expensive item I ordered. It's so bizarre and I don't think anyone should pay for items they do not receive! Something is fishy here.

Pinup dresses

The dresses came from China which I expected. Took a month which I expected it would have taken longer. The fabric quality was great, zippers are really nice. One of the dresses neckline was supposed to have a sweetheart neckline but was weirdly straight and too high, was an easy fix.

Inflated prices, mediocre quality shipped from China

No indication on the site that these items ship from China. The order took a month to arrive, at which point I didn't need it anymore. I'd ordered a backup corset for $30 on Amazon and when the corsets from atomic jane arrived one of them was the EXACT same thing, except I paid $60, to wait a month uggggghhh. Spend the extra bucks and go to Corset Story.
