I use the interface as a keyboardist at live gigs in conjunction with a mini PC. I use the four inputs for comfortable in-ear monitoring (band mix + stereo microphone pair for Athmo). Phantom power wi... See more

I have Audient ID14 Mk1 and Evo 8…
I have Audient ID14 Mk1 and Evo 8 interfaces. Both have worked really well for my needs. The ID14 was fantastic with my 2017 MacBook Air, allowing me to get clear, great sounding recordings with no noticeable latency. The Evo 8 doesn't play nice with the old MacBook, but works brilliantly with my Mac Mini M2. Really excellent value for money.
Look no further
Have only just set this up after buying a new pc so not a full review.
I can say the other reviews are right, my previous
Interface wasn't at all bad but the ID4 blows it out
the water in terms of sound
The clarity and depth of the guitar tones are really impressive, everything comes to life in a way
I haven't previously experienced.
For example my effects unit has several presets that I don't really bother with, nothing much seems
to happen.
With the id it's a very different story, now I can see how it's supposed to sound, this is what you get
with a true high end preamp.
It's early days but I'm not quite used to the volume knob, it has shared functions so don't expect
a 0 to 10 arrangement.
I have found starting a session takes a bit of playing around to get the levels right though that's
probably a case of getting used to it.
One curiosity is the mysterious control app which
didn't show up on windows 10 and now doesn't
show up on windows 11 either.
I know perfectly well what the official answer is, you'll find it on the taskbar in hidden icons.
Not so, and I did install it properly, and I also know you might not see it for other reasons.
Well I've never seen it for any reason not even when searching the pc for it.
You can get by just fine without it, really no big deal but still a little confusing.
The unit still gets 5 stars because I won't be shopping for sny other interface, this is studio quality sound for a very fair price.
So far so good!
Great sound and quality
Great sound and quality. Flawless. I like all the possibilities. Even on an ID4 you can do a lot, if you're a guitarist and I refer to the preamp and dedicated guitar input. I personally like XLR outputs because balanced jack cannon cables are hard to find and need to be specifically purchased. Not handy if you're on the move. I really don't find intuitive the iD control knob but maybe it's just me
Brilliant.
Brilliant interface. Brilliant customer service. Best decision I made.
Nero Monitor Controller
After using the Nero for a year, I realize how a few seemingly simple upgrades over my Presonus unit have made audio playback better.
First is the dedicated sub button, where I can use (or not) the sub with any of my three playback monitors.
The level matching, assignable source to headphone destinations, mono (even to HP) are all the "little things" that make this unit a worthy upgrade.
Amazing quality of the preamps

Great Hardware and Great Customer…
Great Hardware and Great Customer Service.
I bought 1 Audient Evo 8 during the pandemic for some video assignments where I had different sets with different mics and had to switch scene to scene between the sets to keep the correct gains and also record 4 different mics all at once. It went like a charm. One I had a problem with the hardware they repaired it in a very short time and on the wait I bought a second one that I eventually kept for use on a different computer. Their software to manage the Evo is great and comprehensive. Also a lot of utilities included.
My Audient interface (id44) is AMAZING
My Audient interface (id44) is AMAZING! Incredible sound and ALL the features I need in one beautiful, desktop interface. LOVE it!
Audient ID14 mk2 - Great sound
I'm using the Audient id14 mk2 for almost a month. I'm pretty happy with the quality of the sound, build etc... the sound quality is like someone playing a guitar in the room. Very realistic and really clean. My only problem is the interface have very few knobs/buttons. There should at least be a live view mute button on the interface. Every time I want to change something, I have to open the ID mixer and it's a little frustrating. Also, (this is a must have) in the ID mixer, a double click on the slider should set the value to "zero".
My ID22 is doing great after 5 years
I'm a Cubase pro user. My ID22 is doing great so far after 5 years of not intensive use. All controls are functioning perfectly. My experience with ID mixer was never fluent but maybe it's my relative inexperience responsible for that.
Strange issue of missing external speaker output affer swapping XLR input
Generally happy with my ID14 MkII & Evo 8. Had an issue in September 2024 with Evo 8. It was connected to a pair of speakers using output 1 & 4 (haha the reason for this seemingly strange was because my TRS / XLR adapters were too big to fit in next to each other, i.e. out 1 & 2 or 3 & 4) and the entire setup ran smoothly. However, after swapping the XLR cable in one of the inputs with another XLR cable, suddenly there was no output in one of the 2 speakers. Rebooting the laptop does not resolve the issue.
The next day, everything went smoothly with identical set up.
There is not a single audio interface…
There is not a single audio interface in this range can beat Audient ID14, the hardware and software experience is a complete package

Great quality and customer service.
I have the iD14, EVO 16 and the EVO SP8 and love them.
Pro-level audio devices at affordable prices
I used an iD4 MK2 for a few years and then upgraded to an iD44 MK2. The iD range offers clean mic preamps, top-notch converters and solid software. Multiple routing options on the iD44 allows for multiple setups including, for example, a guitar reamp routing where the guitar's direct signal as well as the cab mic's signal can be captured simultaneously.
Solid performance across multiple DAWs. I recommend this brand.
Loving it!
After a few teething problems in the set-up - which were diligently, swiftly and professionally resolved by the U.K office (Tom) - I have just so enjoyed working with this iD24, and the fabled pre-amps. The difference they make is no small thing. I am no longer 'next door'... I am in the room. I can hear the tone and character of the various basses, as never before, which simply makes everything more pleasurable, and certainly less frustrating... which evidently helps in the recording process no end... in so many ways. The client, in US, has also been wowed, and I have subsequently had to backtrack over previous numbers, to do them again with the iD24. I am using perhaps 10% of the box's capacity, but that 10% suits me just fine. Highly recommended.
Very happy customer.
Hi. I really love my new iD48. I feel it's the piece of gear I needed for my studio. I love it because it's very easy to use and it's very robust. Thanks so much.
