I had 2 consultations with another ear clinic but was still experiencing discomfort with wax, I called AudioCare and got an appointment the next day. I was seen bang on time and within 10 minutes the problem was solved. Brilliant service, can’t recommend enough!!! I won’t go anywhere else in future!

I have been wearing hearing aids for over 30 years. For many of those years, I was a loyal customer of Hidden Hearing and enjoyed an excellent relationship with my local audiologist. Unfortunately, as the company grew, I noticed a real decline in standards. The personal touch seemed to disappear, and the focus shifted more toward money particularly around their insurance. A very unpleasant experience with their financial controller finally convinced me it was time to look for a new provider who truly put the customer first.

I was recommended Audiocare, based in Holywood, and I am so glad I made the switch. I met Michael at their Lisburn Road branch,
Opticare, 573 Lisburn Road, Belfast, County Down, BT9 7GS,
which also offers both optical and audiology services.

At my consultation, Michael was welcoming, professional, and took the time to explain his background. He originally studied to become a dispensing optician before later retraining as a certified audiologist. That unique dual expertise really came across in the care he provided.

Michael supplied me with the same Oticon Intent hearing aids that Hidden Hearing had offered, but at £1,000 less, and with a five-year warranty included. The whole process felt like a breath of fresh air. Christopher at the Lisburn Road branch was also excellent, always polite and helpful on the phone, never making me feel like an inconvenience.

When it came to fitting, Michael spent over an hour with me, ensuring everything was perfectly adjusted. Nothing felt rushed, and throughout I felt welcome, valued, and genuinely cared for.

I am absolutely delighted with the sales, service, and aftercare I’ve received from Audiocare and Opticare. I will certainly be returning for my next pair of hearing aids, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone seeking high-quality hearing care with a genuine personal touch.
