Deeply unprofessional experience – Major procedural and administrative issues

I am deeply disappointed with the current state of Envato/AudioJungle. After years as an exclusive author, my recent experience has been a series of unprofessional contradictions and administrative failures.

First, I started receiving "hard-disable" notifications for long-standing, previously approved items, even ones with good sales. The notifications were not only addressed to a completely random name - indicating an automated process and major data glitch - but they also permanently removed content for "quality" reasons while simultaneously blocking any path to update, resubmit, or retrieve it back to my personal computer. This was becoming an ongoing occurrence, slowly removing items from my library. It was clear they could ultimately do this with all my items, leaving me with insufficient funds for a payout, withholding funds with no means to make more sales.

Because of this, I personally downloaded and removed all of my items and decided to close my account, which has been even more of a nightmare. Support was initially accommodating regarding my payout request and account closure. Even though I did not meet the payout threshold, they initially confirmed in writing that my final payment had been "processed and initiated." However, when I followed up a few days later, they completely changed their story, claiming they were "unable to create a manual payment" and that it wouldn't be sent until the next automated cycle. The reason provided was that they "found" more funds that did not reflect in my Author Dashboard at the time, which is highly questionable. In my opinion, they used a technical backend process (delayed sync) as an excuse for poor customer service and slow financial reporting. Furthermore, Envato has closed down their author forums, cutting off a way for authors to communicate with each other, share experiences, and hold the platform accountable.

This whole episode required multiple days of follow-ups and escalation to a senior support member to communicate directly with me and to ensure payment without further issues. This was an extremely frustrating and "painful" process. While I have eventually received my final payout and closed my account, I advise Authors to meticulously audit their final statements and anticipate issues when managing assets and closing accounts.

If you search for problems then join…

If you search for problems then join Audio Jungle, their customer service is non-existent. They will only approve your music license after 3 months, which will halt all ad revenue. I bought music for 27 $ but now I don't use that because youtube holds my ads.

I recently encountered significant bad experience

I recently encountered significant issues with the Zaitors - Appointment System, Video/Audio Calling, E-prescription, Hospital CMS Laravel by ZainikTheme. From the start, the product presented fundamental installation problems that were not addressed adequately, which is surprising given how crucial seamless installation is for any software. Despite following the provided instructions, the system repeatedly failed to install correctly, which is a basic functionality that should be secured before any software is released to customers.

What compounded this frustrating experience was the lack of effective customer support. Despite having purchased six of their products previously, this is the only one with glaring issues. Instead of providing a straightforward solution to what is clearly a defect in the product, their customer service repeatedly suggested paying for an extended license to receive support. This was particularly infuriating because my request was not about additional support but about the basic functionality of the system I had already paid for. Their suggestion felt sarcastic and dismissive, indicating a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction.

Moreover, the manual workaround they provided involved complex steps that no regular user should have to follow, further demonstrating that they are aware of the product’s flaws but are unwilling or unable to fix them properly. This experience has significantly tarnished my view of ZainikTheme. Despite their other products being satisfactory, the issues with Zaitors and the dismissive attitude towards resolving these issues raise serious concerns about their commitment to quality and customer care. This ordeal has left me deeply dissatisfied and wary of recommending their products in the future.

Additionally, it is troubling that Envato, the owner of the platform, appears to tolerate this behavior from their product creators. Envato's lack of intervention and support in addressing these legitimate customer concerns suggests a disregard for the quality and reliability of the products sold on their platform. Ignoring customer requests and allowing such issues to persist undermines trust in both the product creator and the platform itself. It's imperative for platforms like Envato to ensure that products meet basic standards of functionality and that customer issues are handled with the seriousness they deserve.

this is what Bellie of envato answered when I asked to give me the correct purchase code because what they assigned to me is not matching...

Hello,

Regrettably, I'm unable to provide those details via email as they are considered sensitive information. However, you can access it by following these steps:

Log into your Envato Market account.
Hover your mouse over your username at the top of the screen.
From the drop-down menu, select 'Downloads.'
Next to the item for which you need the purchase code, click on 'Download.'
Click on 'License certificate & purchase code,' which is available as a PDF or text file:

I do see that you have access to a purchase code as it is included in the screenshots you shared. However, to gain a clearer understanding of your intentions regarding your item/license, could you please furnish additional information about your query? Would you be so kind as to elaborate on the specific action you are seeking to do? Are you in the process of reinstalling the item in the same end product?

I will forward this matter to our help leadership for additional support as requested. Please note that the requested information may be still required.

Very rude / poor customer service

I had a similar experience as another post. My account was locked when I tried to make a purchase on their website. I reached out to support to have my account unlocked and this was their reply....

Regrettably, after further investigation, we’re using our discretion and will not be re-enabling your account.

I have no idea what this is about...do not use them. If you have an issue with anything they will not help you at all.

Very unfair platform

I signed up on Audiojungle, but they have never accepted even a single track even though all of my tracks were accepted by other platforms. There must be discrimination in this company. I went through it on other platforms too. They just give me the poor excuse to not accept my tracks. I'm pretty sure they reject the people from the 3rd countries.
