Listened to a couple of turntables and the Planar 2 sounded better. Reviews are great, and it's British. Really clean lines and the glass platter gives it a great look. I upgraded to the elliptical needle since this should be better for older records and gives me a spare for a low cost. Very happy with the sound, looks, easy to use, and value for money. Excellent service from Audio-T in Chandlers Ford.

Excellent, excellent sound.
Plays beautifully - hearing (good) sounds on old records never heard before. One minor issue: doesn't auto-retract at end of playing an LP.
