Cancelation is easy, but getting them to delete your records is not. They don't do it, and then you can't get back in your account to get them to delete it or even talk to them. You have to sign up again. In addition, while I was paying the monthly fee, I would get regular emails that my info was secure. The day after I canceled my subscription, I start getting emails saying my info was found on the dark web. Very disappointed!

Matthew was the one whom I took out coverage with. He was super helpful and kind.
I had questions once the policy was in effect. I spoke with a customer service rep and became so frustrated I decided to cancel my family membership. She agreed to it and transferred me to someone e to cancel it for me. I got Kristin B. She totally changed my mind… the experience and service she provided was probably the BEST I’ve ever received!! Hold on to that girl! She deserves a huge raise!!!

Available only in USA, got multiple alerts about leaked passwords and i was wondering on which site they were but there's no way of tracking them back to the origin, support is not helpful at all. Canceled my subscription

I try to cancel and I run into difficulties. They say they send a code (not unusual many site I use do this} however the code never comes through. They send emails to tell me I need to renew. I don't want to renew . I want to cancel. they send code. it never comes. Finally I delete the program . they send emails.
I am sick with a nasty virus. Unfortunately I had to call and they want to send a code again. I loss my temper and went in two a coughing jag. I hung up. :-(

I have been an Aura customer for a couple of years now and I have nothing but positive things to say about their service. I recently had a fraud issue happen and they notified me immediately. Their White Glove department walked me through all of the steps necessary to resolve the issue and the provided contact information and instructions for the next steps involving the credit reporting agencies. The rep who assisted me, Olivia, was great to work with. She was kind and also thorough in waking me though the process. I highly recommend Aura.

We love Aura normally. I have it for my whole team. A lot of cool features that seem to work well, but one absolutely unacceptable policy earned them an absolute 1 star and has me considering switching (and we pay for the highest tier).
If your card payment doesn't go through, they turn on you and become a literal ransomware, which is what they are ironically supposed to protect you from.
If you don't pay, they hold all of your passwords hostage until you pay. The literal definition of ransomware. How ironic. Getting in bed with Aura is making a deal with the devil. "We will protect you from data theft... unless it's us stealing it".
Absolute destruction to trust and relationship. And if I can't trust you, why in the world would I house my most sensitive data with you?
Strongly considering leaving.

My ID was stolen a few years ago. I found Aura and they are able to keep track of any malicious activity with all my personal information. I like that I get a notification immediately if there is something that needs attention right away.

Signed up for a monthly subscription because of their 60 money back guarantee. I didn’t quite love the app, so called to request cancellation and a refund, but was told the guarantee was only for annual subscriptions. What a scam. Hope they enjoy their $22. Don’t bother with this company, they weren’t even apologetic.

I sign up for free trial and cancelled before the recurring charge date and they still charged me 48 dollars I tried contacting via email and phone number and both couldn’t help me apparently they can’t find my account

I gotta say for a past month I’ve been trying to contact through email and phone calls to get someone to help me with refund but all I get are no help from both support@aura email and the phone number both sides can’t help find my account or even refund me after I sent the screenshot of the charges on my credit card through the aura support case email

Just posting this review now, but I have had Aura for about 2 years now. I was getting a lot of junk mail (physically) and hearing about data breaches a lot. I'm a very anxious person, and I have enough to deal with in life as many of us do. When I saw a promo code on a YouTuber's channel, I signed up. I am happy I did! It's worth it. Less junk mail, spam calls, and more of a handle on my credit.
