Avoid!!

Masking as a UK company

Placed an order; then came across the trustpilot reviews. Their policy states that they do not accept returns on sale items; most of their products fall into this category.

Asked to cancel the order less within 48 hours. Customer “service” would reply 24-48h later with a lengthy wordy email but not actually acknowledging my request.

Reminded seller of UK consumer laws 5 emails in over a 7 day period and they agreed to cancel and refund.

8 days later I received another email;
Thank you for your order – we’re so excited you chose Aurora Bags!
Our team has started carefully packing your bag. We’re making sure everything is just right before it ships out.

Another screen grab was sent reminding them that my order was already agreed for cancellation and that the emails would be sent to my bank as proof of refund was not actioned and a claim would be raised with my bank.

Formal cancellation order received three weeks after it was originally requested. I was refunded 3 days later

Please don't buy anything from this company. I am still waiting for my order. No estimated time given to arrive. All they did they offered a 25% for my next purchase. Who do they think we are. No idea if this purchase will arrive or if I get a refund.

I’ve ordered quite a few bags from this website, some of them are beautiful leather, and some of them are faux leather. Either way, I’m very happy with all of them, and I’m not quite sure why there are so many negative reviews? Their customer service is excellent, and their discounts are really good. I don’t care if they come from China, let’s face it, most things do these days? My experience was very positive, and I love all my bags. I will definitely be buying more!

Do not buy anything from this company, it is not based in the UK and they ship everything from China.

Ordered a bag, by the time I received the tracking I realised that the bag does not come from the UK, in fact it comes from China. 2 weeks later, still have not received the bag. I sent an email to cancel the order. Wish I’ve seen the reviews here before. Do not order from this website.

Poor. I was under the impression that this was a UK company. I ordered what looked like a well made “leather” bag( I didn’t actually believe that but but as faux leather goes the picture looked pretty good) for a specific event.
What eventually arrived 3 weeks late was a cheap plastic one- I wouldn’t pay £10 for.
I have contacted the company for a refund and they have offered me 25% refund or to send it back to Asia ( my cost for postage)
My suggestion is DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.
Poor quality and a difficult return procedure.

Awful company, awful contact bag was bought for a wedding and never arrived. Very disappointed. Don’t buy from them.

Ordered a bag for £58 to find out that it came from Asia somewhere and I had to return it back there, which was going to cost more than they were willing to refund me. They refunded me 30% of the cost of the bag. The bag itself isn't the best. Not leather, as mentioned and creased in packaging. Wouldn't recommend. The website is very deceiving and wouldn't buy again. I wish I had read these reviews before I bought. DON'T BUY FROM AURORA BAGS!!!

I ordered a bag from this company as a treat for myself. The bag was £48 which is a lot of money.
I placed the order and upon receiving the tracking details I realised that this company was based in china not uk as stated on the website!
I contacted them immediately and requested my order be cancelled and refunded in full! I also contacted my bank to dispute the payment.
Thankfully they refunded the next day and I did get a reply to my email to say as much. Silver lining I guess but having read reviews on other pages since it would seem I was very lucky to get my refund.
AVOID buying from this company.
It’s enough to put you off buying online. The website looks so professional and legitimate 😡

I ordered four bags from aurora-bags.com based on their claims that the products were handmade in Italy and sold by a UK-based boutique. The website was full of UK branding and mentioned a Manchester location, which gave the impression of a legitimate British company selling high-quality Italian goods.

Shortly after placing the order, I received a shipping notice stating that the items were coming from China — something that was never mentioned during the shopping process. I contacted the company immediately to cancel the order, citing misrepresentation, but they refused.

This business is not transparent, and based on my experience and what others have reported, I believe they are intentionally misleading UK consumers into thinking they’re buying premium Italian-made goods from a trusted UK seller, when in fact it's likely low-cost drop-shipped products from China.

Avoid this company if you care about honesty, quality, and consumer rights.
