Not the best experience , items never received

I ordered products from Australian Body Care which were meant to arrive on 22nd January. Unfortunately, UPS failed to deliver the parcel and it was eventually returned to the sender. Tracking confirmed the company received the package back on 10th February, nearly a month later.

At that point, I still hadn’t received my order or any proactive resolution (still waiting). After waiting so long, I lost interest in the products and had to request a refund instead.

The whole process took far too long and was frustrating, especially after paying and expecting delivery within a reasonable timeframe. While I understand courier issues can happen, the overall experience felt slow and inconvenient.

Disappointing first experience.

I’m truly very sorry to hear about your experience – I completely understand how frustrating this must have been, especially as a first order with us 💛

I can see that the parcel was unfortunately delayed on its way back to us after UPS were unable to deliver it. Although tracking may have indicated an earlier return in transit, the parcel was not physically received and registered at our warehouse until 17th February, at which point the refund was processed.

It appears the package may have been delayed or temporarily misplaced during the return journey, which sadly extended the overall timeline. While courier issues can occasionally occur, I completely understand that the waiting time and lack of resolution felt disappointing and inconvenient from your side – and for that, I sincerely apologise.

This is certainly not the experience we want for our customers. If you should ever consider giving us another chance in the future, we would of course do everything we can to ensure a much smoother experience 🌿

I’m sorry to hear that you’re not experiencing anything special with the Salicylic Acid Face Cream 💛

When starting new skincare, it’s important to keep in mind that it can take at least 4 weeks to see visible results. The skin needs time to renew itself and adjust to active ingredients like salicylic acid.

If you’ve only been using it for a short period, I would recommend continuing consistently – ideally daily – to give it a fair chance.🌿

I’m truly sorry to hear that the product didn’t meet your expectations!

Our Body Wash has recently been reformulated. Instead of Tea Tree Oil, it now contains 4-Terpineol, which is the most active component of Tea Tree Oil.
We made this change because 4-Terpineol is gentler on the skin, while still maintaining the same antibacterial benefits 🌿

Of course, this also means that the scent is different – instead of the strong, medicinal smell of pure Tea Tree Oil, the new formula has a more natural and milder scent.

If you’re looking for a body wash that still contains Tea Tree Oil, I’d recommend our Skin Wash, which is quite similar to the original formula.

To make it up to you, I’d be happy to offer you a £100 voucher to our webshop – so you can try the Skin Wash or another product that suits your needs better.
Alternatively, I can also refund your full order if you prefer that.

Unpleasant smell

I contacted Australian Bodycare because their Intim Wash with Tea Tree Oil and Lemon Myrtle had an unpleasant smell, both stale and mouldy - either the products were faulty or they are past their sell-by date.

The company has now written to me and reimbursed me for the faulty items. Apparently, the product has been reformulated with new ingredients, and I look forward to testing them.
