They don't cancel your account and continue to charge you $25 per month forever. I have called, chatted, and emailed with them 3 times now, this is my third time they told me it's canceled. I don't trust them at all. I wouldn't be surprised if I saw another $25 charge next month. STAY AWAY FROM AUTHORIZE.NET!

It is simply impossible to contact support. Very unattentive.

It's a common way of doing domain business in Japan and Korea. This is a well known domain certification service in Japan and Korea. They are owned by a large payment processor and provide certificates in English and Japanese/Korean languages. It's important for our clients and their banks.
My client borrows part of the funds in his bank to buy the domain and the bank requires an independent valuation certificate of the domain name (appraisal). The certification agency must also provide a copy in his native language upon request to be accepted by my client and his bank.

There is no risk for you to pay the fee. If you don't sell they will give the full refund. It's the only risk free way for you and my buyer to proceed.

There are only two scenarios for you:

1. You order the certificate. It's accepted by the buyer's bank and you get your money.

2. You order the certificate. In case the certificate is not accepted by the bank or the sale fails by another reason, you can easily get a refund. The recommended agency provides full refund if you don't sell your domain within 2 weeks. Based on my experience there is no chance for this scenario. If you order the certificate at a proper agency it will be accepted by the escrow service.

I just got off the PHONE after they were duplicatin g charges on recurring transactions. Now I they say my clients money can not be refunded, this is absolutely fraud. DO NOT EVER CONSIDER THEM FOR PROCESSING ...UNethical. WARNING AUTHORIZE.NET IS A SCAM

I wish there were zero stars. Not only does Authorize.net have terrible customer service and bad business practices they are basically criminals. In essence here is what they did to me. 1) I applied for a merchant account and they approved it. 2) I process two customers charges through my new account 3) They notify me that my account is on 100% funding hold and ask for more information 4) I supply the information 5) Risk department now declines the account 6) I try and process a refund to get my customer their money back so I can use my existing merchant account to process their payments 7) Authorize.net refuses the refund - they say they can hold the funds for 120 days.

So guess what. I don't have my money. My customer doesn't have their money. Authorize.net has the money ($5000) and they aren't giving it back until they feel like it. They are telling me 4 months. It is obviously unethical and it should be illegal. I strongly urge any merchant to avoid this company like the plague. They are crooks.

There is absolutely ZERO risk in them refunding this money to my clients. NONE whatsoever.

Honestly the worst customer service ever, they keep telling merchant one that they don't have the funds and so on and so forth but honestly this is ridiculous. I'm changing companies. Don't trust them because they won't take blame for any of THEIR MISTAKES just STAY AWAY FROM THEM!

is a huge scam company processing credit card purchases. Everyone know who visa is in this country. We filled out a "Application" to do business with Authorize.net. Instead of getting a email or phone call or letter, they had our address, they take money out of our bank account for nothing. No account, no account number, That was over 3 weeks ago.
Now we are going to take these idiots to court for fraud! When you call them on the phone you get uneducated young people who double talk.
I checked the ripoffreport.com and discovered authorize.net has rippped off numerous customers. One case, authorize.net opened two accounts never telling the victim that there were two accounts and double charging them for over 8 years. I am in the process of having federal authorities investigate this for fraud and racketeering charges.
