I Would Give Zero Stars If I Could
Our experience with Authrs.io was unacceptable. Their sales team made a strong first impression, but the publishing process became disorganized, careless and unprofessional once we signed on.
They published the wrong version of the book without my knowledge or approval. That incorrect version is still circulating on Amazon, and I have been unable to get it fully removed.
They also uploaded a PDF as the Kindle edition instead of creating a properly formatted, reflowable eBook. This resulted in a poor reading experience and showed a lack of basic publishing quality control.
They purchased leads to push the book onto a bestseller list, even though we did not request or want this strategy. We wanted legitimate book sales and professional publishing support, not manufactured results.
Throughout the process, getting errors corrected required repeated follow-up. The company appeared more focused on selling its services than completing the publishing work accurately.
Based on our experience, I would not recommend Authrs.io. Authors should retain control of their publishing accounts, require written approval before anything is published and independently verify every uploaded file. I would give this company zero stars if Trustpilot allowed it.
