My granddaughter is 3.7 and was diagnosed over a year ago. Since I know very little about how to respond to autism, I am hungry for as much information as possible. You provide a variety of information which is much appreciated.

I like this because I'm not the type of person to sit in a room with other people and share life experiences. So it's nice reading this . It makes me feel less alone.

I enjoy the Autism Parenting Magazine because it discusses real life issues that I may deal with regularly with my autistic child. More importantly, practical tips and resolutions are presented that parents like myself can put to use and implement. The customer service is also wonderful and responsive.

My grandson is autistic, and I find the information helpful and educational. He is non-verbal and a very picky eater and enjoy learning from other family's experiences and professionals. I often print out articles and give to my daughter and son-in-law to read.

What would you do in a situation if your asd child is 9yrs of age n starts swearing at you n says he hates you would you tell him off for swearing as he laughs at it but doesn’t know what it means. Would you take it to heart as well or what would you do? Even if he carries on saying it n just screams his head off when being told off for swearing but apologises but to him goes in one ear n out the other doesn’t understand lives in his own world, then he tells you off for saying don’t lives in own world!!! Is it attention seeking do you think??

I was immediately contacted by Mark Blakey, CEO of Autism Parenting Magazine and he fully refunded the charges. He offered to create a personal plan for my grandson and apologized for any inconvenience. I appreciate his personal attention he gave to this situation.

Am happy with the program, because I have learnt how to handle children with autism with characters such as social communication, rigid thinking, moving, speech, interacting with friends, mental disorder, learning problems, eye contact, hearing problem and interested with objects. Thanks very much
