Scam the make out there interested in buy and act pushy to purchase this report I had provided a report but that still wasn’t good enough. Started to make me question it so I checked on reviews and the answer said it all… foreign barstards

Was selling a car on Autotrader. A guy rang asking for more info, and asked me to send my address on WhatasApp to a different number as he said he rang using his business phone and wanted the address on his private number (which I did - hope that's not a problem!) Then asked me to do a car check using their website only. I hadn't heard of autochecker.co.uk and thought it was weird he would want me to do the check as I could edit the PDF report and give him false information, so I did a web search which brought me here.
I told the guy that he should get his own report and that even if I were to buy the report it would be from rac,co.uk or carwow.co.uk or other reputable service provider. I didn't hear back from him again....

I believe they are trying to scam you, either by stealing your information or by getting you to pay for a report that no one will use because the guy won't turn up.

Also, it's very interesting that there 3 5-star reviews within 2 days of each other, another a couple of weeks later and all reviews since then have been 1-star. You have been warned.

Trying to sell a car on Autotrader, they texted asking for more info then asked me to do a car check using their website only. They advised me to pay upfront and they would refund me after buying the car.

They are scamming car sellers by buying info about the car and probably never showing or refunding you.

Block the number and call them out for scamming.

It's a fake website try to steal your bank details! They get your details from autotrader, tell you that they want to buy your car and ask for a report from this website.

Scam!! Car buying scam, do not click the link or enter bank details. There is no need to provide a report for a genuine sale. Person via phone and WhatsApp was very pushy and rude. Don’t let these low life’s fool you.

I was contacted by a man called William about a car that I had for sale. He asked for a Whatsapp number for the address and for contact. Within two minutes he asked for an Autochecker report. I have never provided a report when selling but he was insistent. I visIted the website to check & low and behold a chat representative called John William responded. He was very evasive when I queried this and promptly closed the chat. I would suggest that they were one in the same. BEWARE PEOPLE. THIS IS A POSSIBLE SCAM

DO NO USE THIS SITE OR PUT YOUR BANK DETAILS IN. This site is fraud to get your bank details. Im selling a car on auto trader and a fake car buyer is trying to get me to use this site to get a car history report but it is fake and they only want your bank details. Be very careful do not use if someone send you the link.Looks very convincing and genuine but its a fraudulent site. Please don't buy the report as you will be giving your bank details and it will be used for fraud
