This is by far the best bot I've tried and it's now the only one I actually use on a live account. It makes good profits, with minimal drawdown and is very consistent with its results. It averages around 4 trades a day, 92% of which have been profitable in the last 2 months. Cudos to the team behind ATS.
I've bought around 3-4 other 'professional' forex robots in the past and I can say this is hands down the best one so far. Naturally it still has its limits, but I'll explain the pros and cons below so you can make an informed decision.
For context I bought the AutoGold Pro.
Pros:
- Since November, it has taken 656 trades, 89% of which have been profitable, totalling a return of 53%
- Very low maintenance without much requirement to change settings.
- Allowed me to pass FTMO 10% challenge.
- Great customer support who answered quickly anytime I had a question.
Cons:
- During period of increased volatility (like big news events, like russia invading ukraine), you will either want to turn it off, or as I have been doing recently, increasing the pips to next trade to around 1000 up from 500. This has allowed to leave it on, no matter what news comes out and I will probably leave it one this setting.
- If you overleverage, you risk being subjected to large drawdown. I recommend sticking to 0.01 lots per £1000 and at least 500 pips to next trade. This has pretty much removed all major drawdown.
- This particular bot only trades gold, so if you want to trade other pairs, you will have to get The Auto Bot.
Initially I was skeptical, but now I run 3 different live account on this Bot with slightly varying levels of risk, and they are yielding me great returns. I had a bit of drawdown in one of them since the war has broken out, but since adjusting the setting to absorb the volatility, it has been working fine again. It's been a great back up, as my own manual trading has suffered a bit since the war kicked off.
All in all, I cannot recommend this service more.
