I’d give those guys five stars wherever possible. The whole process is so easy for us the customers from start to finish. We got useful travel tips, got the car fast and with good instructions, left the car within a minute at the airport on our way back. They respond to everything in WhatsApp within minutes which is priceless. Don’t hesitate to trust Auto rent a car for your Madeira stay!
I had an excelente experience renting a car in April 2025, right in the middle of the high season. The team was very responsive and communicative throughout the process (WhatsApp and email). I often have issues with car seats not being available during the high season but not with them, I got both I requested and they even brought an extra one just in case one didn’t fit my child properly. Great thinking!
The “Meet and Greet” system was a game-changer. This was all done right at the exit of the airport so literally 1 minute from the Exit door. A team member greeted us directly at the airport's departure section with the car ready to go. Another team member gave us a thorough walkthrough of the vehicle, offered tips about the island, and advised us on which roads to avoid. My family is from the island, I come every couple of years but I still learned something. When it was time to return the car, I simply drove to departures and gave the keys to a team member waiting; no hassle, no delays.
Overall, a seamless and thoughtful service. I’d absolutely rent from them again.
