The return policy sucks. Why do I have to pay $98 plus tax to return a part I never even opened or used. And what makes it worse is my part only cost $148, so I’m only getting $48 dollars back from my return… this place is a joke

update: months later, we were just going back and forth about a simple return, but they refuse, like just because they dont agree.
I ordered the part I needed for my gx470, but would not fit (brake caliper). Theres another company i dealt with that is very similiar. Many times you will deal with several names, when it comes to scamming the public.
My brake caliper would not fit, but AS will not pay to have it returned. It doesnt matter what it cost to send it if you screwed up AS!. Robert C

I ordered 4 struts, 4 rotors , 4 hub and bearings 5 minths ago. Ive had to replace one hub and bearing and 2 struts. I replaced them with parts from nappa. In my opinion the parts are garbage. I called customer service, and they issued a refund on hub and bearing.unfortunately and my fault i used a prepaid one time use visa credit card and once balance was used disposed of it..i tried to get the refund returned a different way but thier policy is to refund the way the payment was made. So i never got or ever will get the refund so i never bothered calling about the struts.the rotors are garbage 2 i replaced all 4 with canadian tire rotors. I will never deal with auto shack ever again.id rather pay triple or more for real parts then the headache of cheap parts that need changing a few months or at most a year later. I wouldnt even use thier parts on a car i was selling right away because id feel like i was ripping off the buyer . If i could give the review a minus 2 starts i stead of 1 star i deff would.

I ordered a part based on their website- input all vehicle specs. The part did not fit. Called in for a return and they were rude.
I ordered the front and rear brake pads of my car according to the information available on the Atoshk website, such as the car name, model and year of manufacture.
Due to the situation at the time, I only installed the front pads and they were fit. And I was relieved that the rear pad was also fit. But after three months of returning from a trip and trying to install the rear pads, I saw that they were not fit.
I called Autoshack customer service and they told me to send photos of the pads and the year my car manufactured. When I sent them, I noticed that they added a date inside my profile and emailed me saying that because your car was built before April 28, 2006, this pad is not suitable for my car. This is while this date was not on their website before and they did not mention it in my profile either when I wanted to buy them. After I told them I knew my profile information about these pads had changed, they said they were only responsible for returning the part for a month, although they did not mention this at first. Be careful, in any case, they do not want to be accountable and responsible!!!

Beware- of their answer below I have not gotten ahold of them with my VIN number yet, and yet they are stating based on the information provided they agree with their customer service rep. They are only responding to try and change opinions but are not actually getting info from me.
Their customer service sucks major balls to say the least. Save yourself a headache and buy from a reputable store. I learned my lesson the hard way fir trying to save a few bucks.

In addition they say if there are any visible scratches they see after you have shipped it back then you won't get a refund. Seems like they want to keep your money. No other company I am aware of does this. Funny how your customer service rep did ask about the sports suspension and I said no it did not have it and that did not change anything. Axles ordered were fine. Their website kept saying my order could not be placed. So I switched browsers then suddenly I had a double order. We’re not willing to send me a return label for an unopened package. Costed me 120 dollars to return package on a 300 dollar part. Super disappointed with the rude lady on the phone. Super disappointed with no return label for an unopened package. For the 1000’s I’d spend in parts as a customer I’ll take my business elsewhere if they want to save 120 in shipping
I've ordered parts from them for multiple vehicles. Always get what I ordered in a fast amount of time. All these people placing orders and getting the wrong parts are probably ORDERING the wrong parts. It can get slightly confusing at times but best to be sure before pulling the trigger.

Ordered struts for my car. Only 3 showed up. And now they say the other one will show up 4 days later.
Not very cool. Had an appointment to have the work done. Now have to reschedule because they didn’t send them all together.
Wasted lots of people’s time by not shipping them together.
I most likely won’t spend my money here again.

I placed a order last night and tried calling this morning due to it being the wrong rotors as it was my mistake, ordered too fast lol.
They won’t cancel the order! It’s sitting in there warehouse!
The guy on the phone said “once the shipping label is created, they can’t take it out of the system”
I called there shipping company GLS DICOM PARCEL. They have not picked it up yet.
I’ve had so many issues with autoshack over the years!
Do not order from them! You think your getting a deal but in all reality, there parts are not going to last! Rotors & pads only last 6-12 months, struts maybe 3-6 months, wheel bearings could possibly get a little over a year out of them, might get a year out of the control arms, ball joints and tie rod ends.
Overall if I could give a zero star for autoshack I would.
If your thinking about saving a couple dollars don’t do it! Go spend the extra money and buy stuff from your local parts store!
You will be changing your parts again & again with autoshack’s parts are not meant to last.
I’ve ordered everything and anything from this place for people’s vehicles. That are too cheap to buy good parts lol

This company ships fast and that's it. The customer service and return policies are garbage. Parts quality is a joke. If you need to cancel an order you have a 60 minute window. After that you will be told you pay the shipping. Even after telling them to cancel the order. They're terrible, dishonest, not trustworthy, and most of all unethical. If I was suffering from a terminal illness, and auto shack sold the cure for 2 cents. I would happily pass away with an extra 2 cents in my pocket.
Update- ahh look below for more of that fine customer service. Exactly the level of professionalism you've brought me to expect. My statement stands you're a terrible business. Your policies border on being predatory. I guess insults is the next logical step. You outright refused to offer any kind of solution earlier today. Also maybe you need to do some housekeeping. I was planning to buy a catalytic converter from this company and saw a lot of info about how your warranty will be void (example even if the metal got scratched), and nothing about how the product is gonna work and quality.
something didn't feel right and i checked the reviews on yelp, USreviews and trustpilot and a few others, 99% of the reviews are bad and customers are complaining about how they treat their customers like crap and how rude they are with people, they call customers morons and scam, based on that you can guess what kind of people work at the business. the good reviews are mostly fake reviews written by themselves that you can tell by just reading it. I wouldn’t risk my $$$ and buy from them, anyone else who wants to buy something from them should read other customer’s experience and decide if you want to go through all that.

Morons work there!!!! I specifically ordered Front Wheel Bearing Hubs and these morons sent me Rear wheel bearings!!!! Then tried to blame me for their mistake. And on top of all that they made me pay for return shipping...this company is the worst!!!!
