These folks were great. Helped coordinate collection of my car from the storage facility, delivered it to port and sent the car to NYC with zero headaches. Car showed up in the US just as I had left it in the UK. Top notch service and affordable. Highly recommend.

Excellent and efficient service from pick in London to collection in Hong Kong, I would recommend Autoshippers to anyone.

The original contact was extremely helpful and all my questions at all times were handled courteously and with clarity.
If in the future when I stop driving and my daughter wants my much updated Morris Minor Traveller I know exactly who to contact.
If asked by anyone would I not hesitate to to recommend Auto Shippers to them.
Like- kept me informed initially
Dislike- very expensive, expected 3-4 weeks to Canada, will be almost 8. Always delays, even after it was on the vessel. They told me 10-13 days on water, will be 20 as it picked up THEN the ship travelled to two other European ports before sailing. Will let you know how it arrives.
i was kept informed every step of the way. Autoshippers made importing my first car from the USA easy and stress free .
Thank you guys
Super easy process, communicated well all through the various stages, took care of the interface with the import broker. Would highly recommend.
Super easy to work with. Good to great measures to ship the items to land without damage.
Mixed feelings. Very helpful company, can't fault that, kept us informed and a great website for advice. BUT my car arrived in Cyprus damaged, clearly from something rubbing against the boot taking it to bare metal, showing rust, and the boot edge was damaged as well. The company in Cyprus failed to mention this when we picked it up, and as we had a storm at the time we didn't see it until we got back. Told to claim on their insurance, luckily had a local contact to do a repair to save us the hassle.
WARNING TO ANYONE THINKING OF SHIPPING WITH THIS COMPANY THAT THEY HAD FIVE CARS INCLUDING MY VERY HIGH VALUE VEHICLE APPARENTLY STOLEN FROM THEIR OWN SUPPOSEDLY SECURED STORAGE FACILTIY. THEY COLLECTED MY CAR IN A CLOSED SECURED CAR ON NOV 8TH AND BY NOV 10TH/11TH MY CAR WAS STOLEN. SOMEONE WALKED INTO THEIR FACILITY, TOOK THE KEYS, BROKE INTO SECURE CONTAINERS AND WALKED OUT WITH FIVE CARS, THIS IS THE STUFF OF MOVIES. YOU CAN CONTACT ESSEX POLICE FOR FURTHER INFORMATION. DO NOT AT THE COST OF YOUR VALUABLE ITEMS ENTRUST THEM WITH ANYTHING TO BE SHIPPED. THEY HAD FIVE, I REPEAT FIVE CARS STOLEN IN ONE NIGHT FROM UNDER THEIR OWN RESPONSIBILITY. DO NOT SHIP WITH THEM. CONTACT ESSEX POLICE FOR FURTHER INFORMATION.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
They loaded £576 onto my statement 8 days after my vehicle had sailed saying unfortunately the shipping line had levied a 50% increase on the prepayment I had made . Threw their T & Cs at me everytime I asked for the increase notification from the shipping line. I was told my car would not be released if I did not make the extra payment. Bad business indeed . Hoegh customer services tried to assist me but said it was ultimately down to this agent . I did not experience any increase with my personal affects shipment on the water at the same time. No transparency
Calling all military personnel to AVOID this company if you’re assigned abroad. I delivered my car to the port 2 days before the sail date so that it would arrive 4 days after me in Cyprus. This meant I was using a UK hire car for a week before I left the UK. 4 days after the sail date autoshippers email to explain the ship was delayed. I was provided with a new sail date and ETA in Cyprus which meant the car was delayed by 7 days . The day prior to the new ETA, autoshippers email to state the sail date was delayed and it would be another 8 days to my car’s arrival. I understand sail dates etc aren’t within autoshippers’ ability to control, but timely communication is! The result was extra weeks of hire car costs in Cyprus that I had not budgeted for. Today my car arrived (a day later than ETA). Ramp fees are €90 more than quoted and the company autoshippers use in Cyprus only accept payment in cash! Due to the additional costs for hire car I was planning to put the ramp fees on the credit card, unfortunately I now have to find €430 in cash to get my car, or face additional storage charges which will also have to be paid in cash. Even if I wasn’t planning on putting the fees on my credit card, what business engages the services of another business that refuses to accept payments by card. In sum I unequivocally DO NOT recommend this company, their quotes aren’t what you actually pay and their communication is poor.
I would avoid this company. My car arrived late after missing two shipping dates despite being at the yard at the required time. At the last minute we had to organise our own transport to the yard as they cancelled at almost zero notice and offered a refund for the collection costs. In order to meet the shipping deadline, we had to frantically call around and paid an excessive amount at short notice to get the car there to meet the ship. Even then, despite promises we found out the day following the ship departure it did not get on. It did not get on the next sailing, but made the following over a month later. The car sat in the yard all that time, and it is an open top vehicle... We insured the car for transport from AutoShippers, to Sydney and our home address. When the car arrived, it was clear it had been neglected. All the rotors were rusted completely, all external components the same. The cockpit was full of water, and it was in a poor state generally. We had the car inspected. The engine had ingested water and was a write off. It was the opinion of the expert report written that the car had been stored outside, and then when placed in the container no safeguard against moisture had been put in the container. With the weather having been torrential rain in the UK for the storage period, the car would have sat in a steady water stream. This is a track vehicle, and having also not been run for a period due to the delays the water ingested had now led to rust in the cylinders. We tried to claim on insurance, what they offer is worthless. We took it all the way to the ombudsman, who agreed that the car had suffered significant damage, however as "rust" was not covered in the policy, and rust was what was present in the engine, and the fact it most likely occurred whilst stored at Autoshippers, the insurance had no need to pay out. Autoshippers blame the insurance, insurance blames Autoshippers. I am left in the middle with a GBP 20k bill for a new engine and labour, plus all the other parts that now need replacing. Go with a company that will guarantee covered storage, suitable insurance, and will love your vehicle. I should have been more thorough. Once they got my money, they were all excuses. Dont be fooled. For the record, this was not some dodgy kit car. It was a race prepared Caterham 7, which was taken directly from the race team with video and photographic evidence of condition, and transformed into what you see in the photos by AutoShippers. DO NOT USE THEM.
I spent a lot of time deliberating who to use to send my car from UK to Australia. I got a high number of quotes and looked at pro's and cons. I ended up going with these guys and used the R-Rak service. A combination of reviews on all the providers I looked at and price. I have an Audi A8 L which is a fairly big car, but wasn't a problem. I received an excellent service, start to finish, including AutoShippers always keeping me up to date and not me asking for updates. Would definitely recommend this company.

Autoshippers were fantastic in shipping our car from the UK to New Zealand. Everything was well organised, there was great communication from the company and the service at either end of the shipment was thorough. There was no problem with arranging the collection of the car and they gave us hints on how to thoroughly clean the car inside and out for the shipping. They also allowed us to fill the car with other possessions and they were reasonably priced. Our car was collected on 10th May 2021 from an address of our choosing in the UK. The car was inspected thoroughly and loaded onto a truck for transport. It left the UK 5 days later and Autoshippers supplied us with information regarding the process.
We expected there to be severe delays in shipping the car to New Zealand during a global pandemic. Our furniture had been shipped out two months prior to the car with a different company and that had been delayed significantly, so we were expecting the same with Autoshippers. Autoshippers predicted our car would arrive in New Zealand on 22nd July and they were not far off. The main delays were towards the end of the trip and Autoshippers kept us informed throughout the whole process. If there was a delay (as small as a couple of days), they contacted us and informed us which ship the container was on and where it would be going next. We did not have to chase them for this information (unlike the other shipping company). In total, the car took 14 weeks from door to door. We are incredibly impressed with Autoshippers and would recommend them to anyone who wanted to ship their car abroad.
