Mafia-Like Practices...

I paid in full for the product, and it was shipped. DHL decides that there is an extra 80$ dollars if I want my package. Said they would send it back if I didn't pay. Nowhere did any information (AV or DHL) say that we would owe some more money. That was a real sleazy, greedy move on someone's part. Paid the unfair (probably illegal) fee_and not only will I never purchase anything else from AV, but will warn others about these mafia-like practices. DHL - "Hey, you want your already purchase package?...Well then maybe we'll let you have it: for another 80$"..? What kind of business are you cats running?

Hi Stephen.

We are sorry that you feel this way, but when purchasing outside USA there will be import taxes, fees, customs etc. and how much that is, is totally up to your government and not something we are able to provide info for. It is therefore up to the purchaser to check up on this prior to a purchase outside USA.
It is the same for us here in the EU when purchasing outside EU. Then there will also be charged for import fees, taxes and customs.
