These speakers seem well made and sound good, especially for the price. I've temporarily replaced my Revel M106 speakers with these in my lounge to try out. I don't know how they'd compare to the M106s in a straightforward system without a sub, though they do have decent bass. In my case I use REW equalisation and a subwoofer in my lounge. In a blind test I doubt I could tell the difference between the two sets of speakers.
