I’ve recently completed my CIPD Level 5…

I’ve recently completed my CIPD Level 5 with Avado and I genuinely recommend them to anyone thinking about doing this course. All the online training is ready to access straight away, which makes working through the assessments much easier, and you’re also allocated a tutor for support. My tutor, Britt Webster, was brilliant throughout, always helpful, quick to respond, and patient with every question I asked her, no matter how daft they felt at the time. It’s definitely been a journey, but one made far smoother thanks to Britt’s guidance and support.

I have just completed my Level 5 CIPD…

I have just completed my Level 5 CIPD course and would 100% recommend Avado. Their tutors, especially Britt and Michael are extremely helpful; they also delivered their training session in a very understandable and supportive way.

Really good experience with Avado

Really good experience with Avado. I especially liked how flexible the course is — I was able to pause my studies when things got difficult and come back later without any issues. It took a lot of pressure off.
The team has been very supportive and easy to deal with. Would definitely recommend.

Just completed UNIT 1 of CIPD L5…

I have just completed UNIT 1 of CIPD L5 and I just wanted to take a moment to sing Britt's praises. She is not only an incredibly experienced, well-informed tutor but super approachable and helpful. The way she breaks down the assessment is amazing and just her understanding of where students are at and how they are feeling is very reassuring - especially for the first module. Finally, her whiteboards are amazing and I appreciate the time it must have taken for her to do these. Thank you so much Britt! I do hope we will meet again later on in the course!

Avado has been decent place to get my…

Avado has been decent place to get my CIPD qualification and the lite course was actually really reasonable, and keep on top in my own pace and not have waste time to doing lessons with tutors.

The website's FAQ and help support has change over the past year, plus they added a chatbot and has made reaching out to them almost impossible and so frustrating.

Although those changes and sometimes technical issues of the site, I have been understanding and whenever I have managed to raise a ticket they have been extremely helpful especially Arpita. Thank you for your help and I hope I don't meen any more issues in the future of using Avado's services.

Britt is an asset to the team!

Britt is amazing at breaking down each assignment. She explains clearly, goes above and beyond to give extra support and has really made my journey so far with Avado feel more comfortable. The resources provided are great, her knowledge is amazing and I don’t think I’d have as much understanding as I do if it wasn’t for Britt’s tutor support sessions. Thanks Britt!

Britt is amazing & Course is well structured

I had previously used another well known provider for the CIPD course but found there was no structure and absolutely no support. I felt isolated and really struggled to find my way so gave up. A few years, my employer and I discussed and agreed to try the course so I researched providers and found myself drawn to Avado. I loved the idea of the structure of what to learn each week and having deadlines (there is flexibility if you need it). So I signed up last May and instead of feeling overwhelmed, I felt I had a clear vision and most importantly, right from day one I felt supported. I feel incredibly fortunate to have had Britt Webster as my tutor, I cannot thank her enough for the incredible support I received throughout my course. Her nurturing approach, deep knowledge, and genuine commitment to my success made all the difference. I felt the confidence to do it (a far cry from the experience from another provider). No question was ever too small or too silly, she created a safe, encouraging space where I could learn with confidence.
Her guidance has been absolutely instrumental in helping me pass my course, and I’m genuinely grateful for the patience, clarity, and motivation she (and Michael) brought to every session. Britt really is an amazing tutor. I would absolutely recommend her and Avado - you have a brilliant tutor who I am sure receives a significant number of positive reviews, I think she deserves a pay rise — her impact speaks for itself. Thank you Britt!

I’m very disappointed with my…

I’m very disappointed with my experience with Avado, especially with Leo Thomson-Jones from the marketing team.

Before enrolling, I was told during a recorded call that I could finish the course in around 9 months if I passed assessments on the first attempt. This was a key reason I signed up. However, after completing my first unit and requesting access to the next, I was informed that all units are fixed and cannot be unlocked early.

This directly contradicts what I was told. I’ve already invested significant time and money, and this feels misleading and unfair.

Avado made it possible!!

For me personally Avado came in at a point when I didn't know what to do next with my career. I am done and dusted with all my assessments in CIPD L5 now awaiting my certificate and Associate status. The journey was tiresome and lots of reading but the end of it all it turned out to be sweet with passing all my units. Next stop is finding a new job, hope it all works out for me and for many others!

Poor communication and serious internal disorganisation

My experience with Avado has been extremely frustrating. Communication is poor, and responses often show that staff have not read the full email thread. I am currently still waiting for a reply to an email I sent more than 15 days ago.

The organisation feels completely disconnected internally, with different teams giving conflicting answers. I was even asked to pay amounts that were not actually due due to poor internal data checks.

The quality of assignment feedback has also declined, often appearing as copy-paste templates rather than meaningful guidance.

For a professional learning provider, this level of organisation and support is very disappointing.
