This company does not honor it's policy on fixing the repairs. They denied me claim coverage as I paid for it for 1 year. Don't allow these liars and thieves to get your hard earned money. This company is bogas and will not cover the car repairs. I asked for my money back and they gave me the run around and did not give me a refund.

I'm very pleased that I decided to purchase the Core Plus Coverage when I bought my 2016 Elantra, I had an issue with my A/C not working in the summer, Russell contacted me, and told me to take my car back to the dealer I bought it from, I paid the deductible and Avantaguard covered the replacement of my A/C Compressor.

My cars check engine line came on and after diagnostics, I had to make an engine claim and AvantaGuard handled it professionally. I'll be honest, I didnt know what to expect when making the claim but Russell stayed in touch throughout the process and made things simple. I did look at my options to have it repaired by a friend who's a mechanic vs making the claim, ended up filing through Avantaguard saved me way more.

Excuses to not fix car

They were going to use this as excuse to not fix a motor mount. Basically to fix any. This platinum warranty for 2yrs is worthless. This is a small foreign business setup in connection with other foreign people selling used cars that are scamming people. With no refund if you cancel, They also would not provide names to upper management.

Literally have something to be covered on my contract , they find any way possible to not fix what’s suppose to be covered. Don’t waste your time or money!!!

I purchased an AvantaGuard Essential Protection warranty earlier this year for my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit. I was told it would cover major mechanical issues, but when I actually needed to use it, every claim was denied — including repairs that were clearly listed as covered components.
When I requested a refund, AvantaGuard refused, claiming the contract could only be canceled within 10–20 days of purchase. However, I was never provided with a copy of the contract until September 8, 2025, more than seven months after purchase, which made it impossible to know or act within that timeframe.
I’ve contacted AvantaGuard several times, and each time I’ve received the same scripted response quoting policy sections that don’t address the real issue — their complete lack of performance and failure to honor the coverage sold.
AvantaGuard has kept nearly $2,900 for a warranty that provided zero coverage and ignored clear consumer rights. Their customer service offers no accountability, only excuses.
Buyers beware:
• Make sure you receive and read the full contract immediately — not months later.
• Don’t expect them to stand behind their coverage when you need it.
I am currently pursuing this matter with the New Jersey Department of Banking & Insurance and Lloyd’s America, Inc., which backs AvantaGuard’s policies.

This is no good warranty
This is no good warranty. My car stayed in shop over 4 months because they didn’t want to pay for a new transmission. Kept sending shop used transmission with over 100,000 miles on them. Put 3 bad transmission in my car. These people are scammers . No good peace of shits
