I ordered two suits in March, it is now June. I checked in on my order in April and was assured it would be here mid-may. I plan to file a fraud report to my credit card for a refund because this company clearly isn't working diligently to solve their unacceptable problem of delivering orders several months after they are placed.

Beautifully made swimwear. You can see and feel the quality in these suits. I’ll always order my swimwear from them going forward. :)

Never received my swim suit, had to go back and forth with customer service and report them to Paypal. Will not shop there again!

Terrible company bought a gift for my wife on 1/22/2022, did not receive until 4/26/2022 wrong size and wrong product and the return policy is only 14 days from the point of sale. They refuse to take it back and refund the payment.

I am so completely satisfied with my two swimsuits. They are beautiful and a perfect fit. I have received numerous compliments when I wear these suits. The best part is they are made from recycled ocean plastic. I love being a part of the "saving-Mother-Earth (ocean)" people.

when i ordered in february, it was clearly communicated that the suits would not arrive until late spring. when i checked in in april, someone got back to me within one business day to let me know that their products are made by order to reduce waste (which i'm super on board with) and that my order would arrive in about another week. my order arrived just as i was told.

i will definitely shop here again for swimwear for myself and my teenage daughters.

I got the 2 piece with the short sleeve top, since I had radiation last fall and I need to protect one side of my chest from sun. The company forces you to buy the 2-piece set, but the tiger print was so cute I ordered an XS and S.

As soon as I open the bag, I smelled cigarette smoke. Not a hint, but it was as if there were cigarette butts in the bag. I tried to ignore it, since I figured I would wash the suits before wearing anyway. However even trying them on, I got nauseous from the odor.

I assumed I would need an XS bottom, S top. I wear a size 25 in most denim brands, and am a 32D bra.

The XS top was insanely small. My 10 year old niece couldn’t even get it on. The S top fit okay around the chest after I took the pads out, but the cuffs of the sleeves were unflattering and snug. I am very fit, but there was no good way to slide it around so it looked good.

The bottoms fit strange. The XS was fine around the butt but snug around the waist. The S came up above my belly button.

Overall, I am very disappointed. I am happy a company is using recycled materials, and was willing to wait for a made to order item. But I couldn’t get the fit to work. And even though it shouldn’t matter, the cigarette smell was horrible. I noticed my hair and skin smelled like smoke after trying it on.

I really wanted to give a full 5 stars but I didn’t only because my items took almost a month longer to arrive than promised. Normally I’d dock another star for a 3 star review but the quality, fit, and patterns made up for the delay. I plan to order more (I bought pajamas and a bathing suit) but I will likely look at ready to ship items this time instead of made to order. I do think they could get better at either increasing production speed or communication with customers, or just extending the timeline promised on the website when people order. But overall these are the best quality and most unique pajamas and swim suit I’ve ever owned! Room for improvement but they are going on my favorite retailer list.

I finally got my bathing suit! After about 10 weeks. The quality seems good, sturdy. It does look like the cheaper sister from what was advertised. Still a nice design, but not as nice (different drawing style, everything is a bit more loosely drawn compared to the advertisement) or vibrant. It came in a small tote bag and I'll definitely wear it. But is it worth 100 EUR?....

It only took a mere 15.5 weeks to finally receive my items. The quality is good but not worth the headache of having to constantly check in with customer service to find out whats happening or when to expect your clothes. Don't bother with this place, they have the worst communication and can't deliver on their expectations. They aren't a scam, just terribly run.

I ordered a bathing suit and the design is beautiful, fits well and material is nice and soft! I appreciate the made to order business model where their products are not mass produced. That means you will have a more unique and environmentally conscious product but you will not get it immediately. Be patient though, it is worth the wait! The company is transparent about this process and customer service is communicative. I would shop with them again.

The 6-8 weeks made to order timeline is not accurate. It has been 3 months and I’ve received zero communication from this company. Ironic that they continue to market and take money for orders when they clearly can’t fulfill.

Amazing suits that fit as beautifully as their prints are gorgeous. Not sure what magic they do but the rear end fits like a dream. Not too tight where it cuts the cheeks, not too loose where it rides. Very flattering! You do need to have some patience, as they are a company for true fashion, not fast fashion, so products are made FOR YOU with recycled materials and these pieces of art take time. They are so worth it though. Good things come to those who wait!!!

If I could give Zero stars I would. This is a drop ship company that does shady crap. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! YOU WON'T GET YOUR ORDER.

This is a company run from a spare bedroom in someone's home that has no clue what they are doing. Lets put them out of business and DONT BUY FROM THEM. Will do much better by purchasing from a reputable seller . I am not the only one that has had these issues. Just read the reviews.

Similar to others here, I ordered a super cute looking swimsuit in January 2022. Because it was new collection, even though general shipping was quoted as 6-8 weeks, my order was estimated for delivery March 2022. Ok, no big. Still plenty of lead time on summer for me. March comes around and no fulfillment or shipping update, so I reached out to the customer service email. Was told it would actually be mid-April, as there were some issues with the print apparently (remember this part). Here comes mid-April and nothing so I reached out again and was told to check my spam for shipping email…which suspiciously suddenly arrived at the same time in my inbox. But ok, great! Cute suit finally on the way! Hooray! It arrived and womp womp - print and colors are totally different than what I ordered in January. I would never have ordered what I ended up receiving - bottom was supposed to be a green stripe and came to me yellow instead ( I can’t pull off yellow), hate leopard print (which was randomly inserted as a random blob over what was supposed to be just a floral/poppy print)…just not the same suit, which maybe is part of whatever printing issue they were having? But they never disclosed the updated design before fulfilling my order. I would have canceled then. I emailed customer service again and was advised I could initiate a return or exchange online - but exchange is only offered for the same suit in a different size, and return charges me for shipping. Boo. This has been a really stupid and disappointing experience.

UPDATE: I received a free shipping label to return the suit. Appreciate the base minimum in not making me pay to return a product they changed on me mid-production without notice, but still very disappointed overall. No acknowledgment from their side on what happened…and I don’t have a cute suit I was excited about for months.

They tell you it's 6-8 weeks. NOT TRUE! It's been 13 weeks for my order and I have not received it. I reached out and they give you a canned message. DO NOT SHOP HERE
I just asked my credit card company to dispute this charge. I'm done with Averie.

I ordered a swimsuit from their website on March 14, 2022. I was told 6-8 week to be shipped out and it is now April 18th. I have tried contacting “Emma” to no avail. I have contacted my bank and will never order anything from this website again. I have tried reaching out to “Emma” on multiple occasions and no response. In my opinion this website is a scam. The “great reviews” are a farse. My advice - DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING as it is a scam.

I almost didn’t order from Averie after reading some of these reviews, so just wanted to chime in here to say I LOVE MY NEW SWIMSUIT! I think the key to not waiting forever for your shipment is to only order “ready to ship” items from their website. I placed my order on April 9th and it arrived today, April 12th! Super happy with this gorgeous one piece; good quality and so dang cute.

Placed my order on february 3. It's April 13, nothing from them and no communication. Don't order from here!

I think this is a fake company/ scam. I believe all these positive reviews are fake. Don't give them your money!
