Had to fight for a refund
Not happy with the way this company conducts itself. We cancelled our trip within their stated 7 day change of mind period, but AVG did not refund our deposit. They told me that they would not credit our credit card, but wanted our personal bank details instead. I found this very suspect. Still no refund after 30 days. We had to lodge a dispute through our credit card provider to get our money back. This took nearly 2 months.

CHINA WOW TOUR
I just arrived back from the most magnificent holiday in AWESOME CHINA! I could never imagine such an experience with fabulous hotels, the best group of fellow vacationers and excellent tour guides. Although my health not good in the heat I survived and cannot wait to return for more adventures and cultural experiences to again blow my mind.
Thank you to everyone who made my holiday truly magical and a very grateful thanks to the Chinese government for making these holidays so affordable and taking us to the very best hotels and tours.

We have booked a tour to Japan
We have booked a tour to Japan, and the date changed to 2 days earlier, which cost us a change in airfares( even though we had purchased flexible fares, still had to pay fare difference). We leave in 2 and a half weeks and can't get any confirmation of itinerary and hotel confirmations. The company has been telling us for 8 months, we'd receive it 30 days before the trip. Communication is very poor, emails not responded to, called in and talked to them, promised call backs and responses. Nothing. I'm concerned big time...

Great customer service
Great customer service. Queries were answered quickly through fb messenger. Booking the tour was easy and with immediate response from the travel consultant. We are book for the 16-day China tour next year so we will see how it is.

We would choose AVG again
It was very easy choosing, booking and communicating with AVG prior to our trip through Vietnam/Cambodia. We found the experience to be pleasant, including some of the nuisances while travelling like visas.
We attended our trip and the structure was fantastic. The tour guides were exceptional and everything was well executed. We have made some amazing memories on our trip and wish to thank AVG for helping us do that.

I've had no problems with the actual booking of the tour I wanted. I was being looked after by 1 lady who I liked but the day I actually booked I couldn't get her & I got a really rude Asian lady & I wouldve cancelled the whole tour I'd my friend wasn't coming with me!!!
