Malaysia 12 day tour with Langkawi beach break
1st up this 12 day tour,
Day 1, is travelling from Aust. to KL, day 11 is travelling from Lankawi to KL to Aust., day 12 is just when you will arrive back in Australia.
We chose to organise our own flights, to get more time in KL at the beginning, so booked land tour only.
Booking online Easter weekend discount = no worries, paid deposit, then paid balance the following week.
60 days out from tour, we got a call to say that the tour was cancelled due to not enough people booked.
Asked for a refund, got the impression over the next couple of weeks that wasn't going to happen.
Eventually (Thank you Hong) we were able to pay extra to have tour go ahead, (to late to get decent airfares though)
Once In Malaysia, KL accommodation was excellent,
If only doing the booked tour - 1 day would be nowhere near enough time in KL.
The Malaysian Land tour company was also excellent, just the one hiccup with the pick up to transfer to Malacca,
Malacca accommodation was only average.
Cameron Highlands accommodation was great, not enough time here though.
Penang Georgetown Accommodation was ok, probs could have had another day to see the west side of the island.
Flight to Langkawi could have been a little earlier, so as not to have wasted most of the day travelling.
Langkawi resort was very good, with just enough time, maybe should have had 1 more day here.
All up a good tour, Thanks to Hong & Malaysia land tour co.

It was easy to find the tour and make the initial payment.
However the full tour amount was documented incorrectly (subsequently corrected). Also the stages of balance payments on the invoice were different to what's shown on the web site.
Contacting the company to request clarifications was easy. Customer care was good.

We did the 10 days highlight of Vietnam,it was our first time using Asia vacation group and we were not disappointed.
Everything was organised for you.
We didn’t have any issues.but sometimes felt a bit rushed on certain tours.. we would have like more than a hour to visit the Vietnam war museum.
Our first guide in Hanoi was Tho she was very knowledgeable and funny.i just wish all our tour guides were like her!our last tour guide in Ho Chi Minh was Alex.. hard to understand and was all over the place! Made our tour a lot less enjoyable.in fact most of our group was listening to a different tour guide who was a lot more knowledgeable in Cu Chi tunnel..
On the road our tour guide was asleep in the bus.. not a good look!
