The transfer was okay

The transfer was okay. The recipient received the money on time. Service was okay.

I just don't like the referral system now. I have been using Azimo for almost 2 years now and the referral reward was £25 on then last one that I referred. Now it's just £1. Loyal customers should get a higher referral reward not just £1.

I sent money 2days the money never get…

I sent money 2days the money never get to the destination I am not happy and no phone number to call no body to chart with online the email contact don’t reply….. Today is Monday 8 Aug 2022 still never get the money in the destination and no refund. I sent the payment on the 4th August 2022. I am not happy and the payment is urgent payment. Transaction id. We have updated you with the information via email.

Please note that since December 2020 Central Bank of Nigeria has decided that all the incoming payments from abroad have to be delivered in USD. In order to make it easier for their customers who don't have a USD account, some Nigerian banks open a currency accounts for them and deposit the money in there.

We therefore strongly recommend checking with them directly as in such situation and depending on the internal processes of the banks, the money will be either deposited to such account or rejected.

You have been warned

You have been warned! After a few months of super fast transfers the nightmare began. Holding funds, asking for a never ending supply of paperwork and using industry terms like "protecting your money" to hide behind. A week of hassle for less than 1000 EUR to be sent! Imagine if you used this for real money transfers...
Until this circus unfolded Azimo was a great way to send money to friends and family, colleagues etc. Fast, hassle free and great value. six months later, the same transfers are deemed 'security issues' for 'My money protection'. This is of course, after they have taken the money into their holding account.
So they asked for proof of funds. They asked for the recipient details, they asked for bank statements and all the time they held the money. A week later, 30 emails and chats with support and still they ask for more details.
My advice, once this starts for you, ask for the refund and close the account. 48 hours will get your money back and you can move on. I ignored the other complaints, I have learned the hard way.

My Favourite Place for Money Transfer

My experience with Azimo has been very good since I started using them. The platform is easy to use and sending money is quick. They are also reliable. So, that gives me peace of mind when sending money through them. The customer support is very helpful and always there to help. So, Azimo is my favourite place for money transfer.

The transfer

The transfer, which was supposed to be received in 1 hour, was not confirmed even in 2 days, and the live chat option does not work for customer support either, you have to wait 12 hours for them to give you an answer by email.
