Lyric accuracy can be a bit hit and miss – usually pretty good, often spot on, but it's not uncommon for them to be incorrect.
The home page states, "It's a place where all searches end!", but when submitting an entry, if you enter an artist that is not already in the database, you are met with the warning, "Artist not found at AZLyrics. Only the very popular artists will be considered for submission," so unless you're searching for something by an artist that has been deemed "very popular" your search will actually continue... elsewhere.
Solid, efficient and reliable site. Part of me likes the more retro design aesthetic, too. There's not much clutter on the page, aside from a few advertisements (though I have to admit, I use an ad-blocker).
The website stores lyrics for a variety of music, some of which I would consider more niche. I like how you have the ability to submit corrections to the site. I've not seen any lyrics which require corrections as of yet (and I am a moderate user of this website), but I will be sure to "do my bit" when the time comes :-)
This site used to be decent, but when they decide to put videos streamed over my data for random crap that I'd never want to see ... Rubbish! Have a word with yourselves. I gave you two stars because I used to like your site.
I'm not sure where they get some of their lyrics from but they do ask for corrections to be submitted. However they don't take any notice of any corrections sent to them. I have submitted corrections for a few songs and they haven't changed any of them and I know my submissions are correct. What's even worse is that the lyrics they have listed don't even make sense - they just write rubbish! They're really poor, an insult to artists and a total waste of time - at least there is other websites that do have the correct lyrics so you don't have to bother with AZlyrics.
