Not happy

We have a new BJ’S in our area. They give members cards to family to spend on their products but do not allow a spouse who is not the primary account holder to have access to the online account. This is annoying and very difficult for a spouse to shop online as the login requires a text to the account holders phone. If my husband has his phone elsewhere forget me shopping there!!

THE SAME DAY DELIVERY IN NEW YORK CITY IS BEYOND POOR!!!!!!!
I would give a zero star if I was able to.

The customer service I receive each time I call the 800…… number is very good, very responsive. But if I try to call either 237th Street Broadway NY location or Pelham Manor NY location, they never pick up my calls. I think they blacklisted my number because I complained about missing item during my delivery and I mentioned the delivery personnel’s name that was showing on my delivery receipt.
Ever since I signed up for same day delivery in January 2024, it’s only one time that my order came hundred percent correct. I always have to call because an item is missing or they delivered a replacement but didn’t do price adjustment.
I always get a refund but it’s exhausting to always call because an item is missing.
I don’t know about other customers but I am not satisfied at all with the same day delivery service at BJ’s. The third party you are using, if that’s the case, is ruining your delivery service image.

I would not recommend same day delivery service to anyone.

Still Love BJ's The Old BJ's

We have been members since The Late 80's and actually love BJ's. The Old BJ's!!
BJ's is Great for paper-goods, cleaning supplies, vitamins and certain food items.
However more and more BJ's appears to be at the wrath of B-School grads schooled in profit through cutting availability, service and quality.
After calling their listed phone # for local tire center. I spent an undue amount of time with their ridiculous automated system that directs you to speak with your local shop, promises repeatedly to connect you to your local shop. But connects you with a national call center that I suspect is Not in America. !
It is so sad that what used to be a simple call to your local shop to see what they have in stock is no longer possible. It is doubly sad that BJ's Management like so many other Business School led companies in their efforts to save employee time and increase productivity. Have no consideration in wasting customer's time. Some time is well spent in developing personal relationships and loyal customers at The Local Level where people live.
Maybe if Management in America actually learned the specific business they were managing and their customers. As opposed to profits through any manner of cutting, staff, service, quantity and quality. Maybe if Management in America focused on sustainable long term success instead of one fiscal quarter at a time. They would once again build life long loyal customers and a lasting Great Economy!
BJ's is still a worthwhile place to shop, for now. But more and more it appears they are little by little losing their way in focusing solely upon profit as opposed to business. Their is a distinction.

UNPROFESSIONAL BAD SERVICE!

I keep getting coupons to try BJ’s and every coupon offers a 1 day pass trial. I went online and obtained a 1 day pass. Came to the warehouse where I was told they no longer offer 1 day passes and was turned away. So, why is my 1 day pass ACTIVE online but warehouse wont let me in. STAY WITH COSTCO, the professionalism and quality does not compare to Costco.

Shame on BJ's

Shame on BJ's. They entice you to apply for a credit card of their's and promise you $40 cash back and then never deliver on the promise. If I had known they would reneg on the offer I would have never applied for the card.
