Look elsewhere for Google ads, SEO and socials
We've given it a fair while since ceasing to deal with B4B to ensure the issues we faced were actual issues with B4B and not coincidental with the market at that time.
We are 3 months into working with a new company and our spend has reduced 70% and August is our best month of the year across 3 platforms. August is usually our worst Month of the year.
We were using budget and targeting the same audience with varying offers, which meant we were competing with ourself on google spend. After having our worst ever start to a year, we looked into it and saw that our advertising spend was more than our sales - something that B4B should have been on top of.
When we raised this, we got a lot of insignificant irrelevant reasons as to what was happening. We gave B4B a chance to improve things, but ultimately they didn't get sales back on track with the Google ad spend.
We paid for Youtube SEO, which was a waste of money and very overpriced for work we could have done internally with no previous experience.
They managed our social pages and despite the promise of dynamic content, competitions and being really excited about our products, we got budget spent in areas we didn't authorise and posts monetised completely unrelated to products.
B4B were unsuccessful in enabling sufficient tracking to our website to measure spend v sales, so we had to base a lot of results on total sales, not being able to separate their contribution. We suspect they were able to, but their performance was too poor and this would have highlighted this.
The new company we used had full tracking up and running in a week.
For SEO, Google ads, socials - i would not bother. We have been left extremely disappointed with what we paid them and spent on advertising, verses what we got in terms of sales and services.
They are so enthusiastic in meetings and creative, but a lot of good ideas and suggestions never materialise. They have some good individuals there, who I believe wanted to succeed, but regrettably for us, it didn't work out.
They have a team that produces product videos, who we would recommend, but are very expensive. They are a great team though and produce quality work and if they were independent of B4B, we'd use them.
Overall, if you are looking for these services, look elsewhere!
