It has been nearly five months since we had our babys cake birthday smash photoshoot at the studio in London with Dan on 23rd November 2025. We are still waiting on the photos, despite multiple text messages, phone calls by myself and my partner. We have been ghosted and he cancels our calls when we try to phone. Do not pay him in advance as you are not guaranteed the photos from Dan. We are so so disappointment as we don't have this important milestone marked for our first baby despite paying for it.

We did the child modelling + cake smash photo shoot bundle for around £400. So we were coming back for the cake smash appointment. When we got there the white paper our daughter was expected to sit on was dirty with foot marks and ripped with a big score of around 10cm (fixed with cellotape). I asked in advantage that the studio be warm as it wasnt on the first occassion we attended.

As the first occasion, Dan was ever pleasant and great with our child. He told us we would get the photos within 2 weeks. On 4th December I texted him to check in on the photos. No response. I texted him again on 14th January. He responded asking for more details and then responded with 'I will check this today, I assume something has gone amiss because you should have had them a while ago now'. That is the last I have heard from him. I texted again on 20th Jan, 27 Jan, 4 Feb and then asked my partner to take over. He has made several attempts at messaging and phoning him. Each time this is ignored or rejected.

I am raging about this. We had a similar issue with the first set of photos but after a while he got back to us and we received the photos. I imagine this was because it was tied with the agency and there was leverage to give them to us. This additional shoot had no agency to keep the pressure on. Your administrative side of the business needs serious focus as your photos are lovely (if you actually get them). Your studio and props (brown blanket) dont look clean. We would REALLY appreciate you reaching out to us to let us know what the situation and we can get our photos or a refund. Otherwise we will persist until we get a response as is only fair.

Shocking company and a shocking service. As others have said, you pay, sign up, and then don’t hear back. There track record on how they treat people is well documented online. They treat people like crap, it’s all over the internet. Do not sign up to this company, there are much for legit companies out there, these guys are cowboys that just want your money, just google it.

For REAL clarity on this organisation, they use a number of underhanded tactics to lure people in. The vast majority of positive reviews are of the studios they work with, not the agency itself. As is evident by numerous recent reviews, any negative review they dismiss as fake. Just google the name to see how they treat people and lie.

Trustpilots actual description online is "get the real inside story from shoppers like you" this organisation is for CONSUMERS to leave there experience, for other CONSUMERS to then gather information on certain companies, it is NOT for the companies benefit. I have quite clearly outlined my experience bellow. As have many other recent reviews. You have a serious problem with admitting when you are wrong, treat people terribly, and when your own clients tell you, you attempt to dismiss or silence them. As the title of my review states. TERRIBLE.

I signed up to this agency in good faith, I now. totally regret that decision.
As soon as you pay them, you won't hear back. Not a phone call, not an email.
Furthermore, I emailed them about a serious matter. There response totally ignored the matter in question, and attempted to claim I was not even a client. They are without a doubt the worst business I have had any dealings with, and I will be telling anyone I come into contact with to stay away.

I signed up to this agency, I wish I had read the reviews properly. Once you sign up, you don't hear back from them at all.
I expected to hear periodically about what was going on. This does not happen at all. You just don't hear back, with nothing to show for what you have paid for.

Wish I had of read the reviews more intensely before I signing up in 2024.Like everyone else I signed up and didn’t hear from the company for months. I had selected willing to travel anywhere and in one year I was offered two jobs and only after I made a point of emailing to say what was actually happening as I hadn’t received any correspondence from them at all(months in). Photo shoot experience with Dan was also not great as the room was cold. You are very much so sold the line that if you want jobs you should pay the £100s for a professional shoot and you were earn it back quickly as your child is in high demand. Once you pay the money contact ceases. I know nothing is guaranteed but to receive no correspondence/ check in.. as people say.. what are we paying for.

Also very upset because we booked the bundle with Dan to do the initial shoot and pay extra for a cake smash. It’s been nearly three months and countless messages but he hasn’t responded and we are still without our photos.

They were able to find a baby model for my product photoshoot in a very specific location on a short notice. Very professional experience throughout - I will be using them again!

Joining Baby Models has been a positive experience to date. The signup process was smooth, the team are helpful, and the platform is easy to use. We’ve had a few castings sent to us since joining and was recently shortlisted for a shoot in London.

I was nervous signing up at first, but Baby Models have been great. The platform is easy to use and support have been helpful whenever I’ve had questions. Our child has received a few casting opportunities already, so we’re really pleased so far.

I signed up to this agency, beliving they were trustworth. Communication is great at first, but quickly stops once you have signed up.
I have recnetly recieved direct emails they themselves have sent. They are clearly hypocrites. That lines up my experiance, where we were told our child had a bright future in modelling, only to never hear back.
I emailed them, hoping to keep this private. All i recieved was an email telling me "they dont have my details" and that "mis communication can happen".
There is no miscommunication i saw emails that you wrote, its a terrible way to treat anyone. I'm very concerned a company with such low morals has my childs images.
I would not trust this organisation ever again.

Update 9/2/26 - To all people looking into this company. They had the below review taken down, they are trying to control and manipulate any review that is negative. I have contested this with TrustPilot, provided evidence, and the review has been put back up online. That should tell you who is being honest here. These guys are proven liars as others have also said.

Me and my wife signed up to this agency in the previous summer.
Had a "test shoot", which we scheduled with Dan. Dan was amazing. The photo-shoot went really well, and we purchased some images.
We subsequently heard nothing at all back from the agency. Not once.
When attempting to book in again, we have been made away of some new information.
These guys treat people terribly. Don't bother.

First impressions of this company… Great. After the photoshoot they offer you that’s the last you hear from them. Photos are £300 for 10 photos (cheapest package) and from what I’ve now learnt other agencies don’t like them anyway. They prefer natural at home photos for your applications. The photos we got of our son are lovely but it was very much sold to us that the paid work comes in to pay this back pretty quickly. I emailed baby models to ask Job availability a while after to get an understanding of how likely it is to get paid work and they’re not willing to share much information with you… baring in mind they tell you they ‘only select children they think has potential’ and we don’t have a set travel limit we haven’t received even one email to say they’ve put us forward for one or even any interest.
No, this company isn’t a scam BUT they don’t communicate with you and from everyone we know that applied they were accepted. Pay the join up fee, they have your money and no interest to help you get work. I don’t believe that they really get a lot of work compared to the amount of children on their system, so it’s absolutely not a scam but it’s very very very unlikely to get work. Seriously, apply to all the free agencies and save yourself £80 and the photo shoot which no matter what they say isn’t necessary.

If you’re looking to step into modelling with your child head to Facebook and join the modelling page where they tell you which companies are reliable and 90% don’t charge a join up fee.

Please pardon me, but i have been through the review and everyone is only talking about the experience with test shoot and how dan is nice, but no one talks about the experience of there child modeling for brands..

So my question is — is it just photoshoot the agency focus on and charge clients who wants there kids to be modeling?
Why the need to charge clients for photoshoot if there kids are going to be on your platform after charging them for listening fee?

We joined Baby and Child Models in August and have just received our first paid job offer. The website and customer service is much better than other agencies we’ve joined. Always kept up to date with new castings. Very good agency.

Currently 2* as I'm unsure. I'm still hopeful that there's room to edit this review but I've become skeptical now. My daughter was accepted to this agency the very next day after we applied which was a Sunday. Interesting to get a response on a Sunday yet I've been unable to get a response from anybody via telephone, text or email since. I recieved a "courtsey" phone call on the Monday and I explained to Nicki that I had already paid £99 to sign up and was looking forward to the experience. The phone call was very nice. I then booked in for a test shoot. This was a decent experience, Dan was professional and amiable. However, we struggled to find the location at first as there is another wow studio on the same main road. We arrived at the wrong one and realised we had no way of contacting anybody for help. No answer on office number or Nicki's mobile as it was a Sunday and we had no contact details for Dan the photographer. We were made aware that there was no obligation to buy photos at test shoot but we choose to buy some after being offered a choice of packages. (10 photos for £300, all photos for £400 and all photos plus a return shoot e.g cake smash for £500). My partner and I picked a package, paid for them at the venue and were told we would have the photos that same evening or by the next day at the latest as they needed editing. A couple of days later we have still not received the professional photos and I've been unable to make contact with anyone. I also have no guidance about the next steps moving forward. If I don't hear anything ASAP I will be cancelling and requesting a refund.
Hoping this isn't a scam, especially after reading all of the other negative reviews. Will edit/update review in due course.

Thank you for getting back to me promptly. I have now received the photographs and look forward to my daughter being put forward for some exciting opportunities for her. Having spoken to Jamie on the phone I'm Still hopeful to be able to leave a glowing review once she gets started on her journey. Changed to 3* as all achieved interaction so far has been good, test shoot was good too but it would be helpful and less worrying for people if they were able to make contact more easily.

Dan made us feel very comfortable & knew how to keep my son interacted. He understands a child of my son’s age does not know how to follow commands & did not get annoyed or rush anything. Would recommend

Lovely experience having a photo shoot, great, and professional staff.

Booking the test shoot for our little boy was quick and easy. The photographer was fantastic with our little boy and it was a lovely experience.

Dan was very professional, he made me feel at ease as I'd never been to a photo shoot with maddie previously. He wasn't pushy or anything he was amazing! He produced beautiful images of my daughter, he's great. Thank you x

My experience was great my baby cried but it’s normal and also it was a fun evening

My daughter has recently booked and completed her first job with the agency and they have been amazing from start to finish. They put her forward for the role, helped with any questions and checked in with us throughout the process. Very impressed and hope to work with them again in the future!
