Actually minus 1 - the product not what I thought and then found it elsewhere cheaper and not the two sisters retiring with left over stock. Jane even rang me and had a big chat. My own fault for not checking before ordering. So one good thing, taught me a lesson. I do like that I can use the product but not the quality I thought especially the price 😔

I would give this company 0 stars. I fell for the scam, purchased 2 Wandas Ghost Lanterns. The picture was very cute, and nothing like the cheap garbage they sent to me. They didn't even send the entire order. Everything in their advertisement is false, including their return policy. Customer pays. DO NOT do business with the company. Their return address is in Hong Kong although they advertised the product was made in Ohio. Clearly false. This company is a scam.

If I could give it a zero I would! What a piece of junk, if I wanted a$90 craft project I sure wouldn’t have ordered this, but that is what I got a junky y plastic pumpkin with a piece of cloth and so foam wire pieces to make the pumpkin house myself. I’ve ordered butterfly houses which haven’t arrived yet. Rang the bank- take it up with the vendor who it transpires s not a little old lady in country Victoria, but a Chinese scam. Like most of the adds that appear on Facebook.

I'd like to give zero stars but the option isn't there. I've reported this company along with several others who are clearly same company, selling same goods, using same stories of artisan elderly people living in rural areas in UK, New Zealand, who are making their very last batch of handmade goods before retiring. Absolute rubbish. Total fraud. I reported to Google as False and misleading they rejected my complaint I appealed they rejected that too. So much for their Trust and Security Dept. All these goods advertised at over £20-50 come from China, they are also on Temu at prices of £4 . This is fraud. Google are also fraudulent and indifferent to the many people who have been scammed and complained.

Adding my voice to the chorus on this sham company, do not be deceived! There is no rural workshop with an elderly, retiring craftsman producing artisan woodcraft. This company is a front for cheap, imported tat from Hong Kong. They extracted £90 from me with their fake, heartwarming back story. I never received the hedgehog house I was conned into paying for. However, I would strongly encourage anyone who has fallen prey to their scam to lodge a chargeback request with their bank. Mine reimbursed the full amount on the same day I lodged the claim. Backroad Goods are clearly well known to them!

Horrible! Product was not at all as described or pictured! I guess my own fault for not checking it out before ordering!
Pumpkin ghost describes/pictures a resin pumpkin about 12”-18” tall. What came was a cheap,plastic 8” high pumpkin, with complicated directions and missing parts! What a joke!
Learned my lesson! This was a complete scam!

Like many others I did not check reviews, my mobile antivirus software did not even pick up this site.
I ordered 2 X rain drums for special people as presents. Mass produced garbage, would not even give to a child as a gift.
Demanded a refund via email. Offered 25% in return. Replied not acceptable. Offered 35% in reply or full refund if returned to Hong Kong! As if. Return items at my cost and still no refund I would imagine. Shocking.

The story on Facebook said these winter birdhouses were made by a woman who would have to stop making them because her grass supply area was sold. Testimonials from "people" who had purchased were all there. Get them while you still can, etc. So I bought 2 on 9/20/26. Immediately started getting texts asking if I wanted a "code" for discounts and assuring me that my items were on their way right now. It was the middle of the night! This caused me to be concerned. After 3 weeks the package arrived. If these were made by an elderly woman with grasses lovingly picked and woven, then I'm a 25 year old beauty queen! The material is shoddy and the tops are crooked. Nothing came in the package about how to maximize use by birds. Somebody should get an award for a sweet story , but the product is a rip off

Ordered the one piece Aldo's Olive Cutting Board made in the USA. Received a glued together small board that came from China.

False advertising. Selling goods that can be bought for a third of the price on Amazon. Takes a month to deliver from China. Absolute scam. Avoid at all costs. Liars

I recently purchased two Hollow Keeper native bee hotels after reading the products were supposedly handmade in South Australia.

I specifically purchased these to support Australian craftsmanship.

When the products arrived, I was disappointed with the quality and workmanship, and after reading the refund policy involved returning to HK, realized it was a total scam!

SCAM RAIN DRUM. It doesn't matter who's name they use for this advert, it could be Nell, Brom ,Tom, Richard or Harry. Either way you will be SCAMMED. Please do your checks before falling for anything like this, thankfully they didn't get any money out of me because I knew it was a SCAM straight away. But I wanted to leave a review to warn others about this SCAM ADVERT, PLEASE KEEP YOUR MONEY SAFE BY DOING A GOOGLE SEARCH VIA THE AI MODE. It's one of the only times the AI has been useful.

This is a scam Chinese website, my bank has confirmed it is a suspicious website and I hope to get a refund through the bank. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING!
I contacted the company to cancel within 14 days as stated on their website but they say their cancellation policy is 24 hrs (not mentioned on website) and I suspect this is adjusted depending on when you submit your order. Royal Mail tracking number doesn't work so probably just invented.

Do not purchase from this company! Goods are not as described on website. I ordered laundry baskets that were supposed to have 3D embellishments, they are completely flat. What a waste of money.

My husband brought me a hedgehog home for a birthday gift. Didn't come with a lot of things the advert said it would. No room separator which is something that is important to keep the Hedgehog safe from predators

He emailed them to complain and said they dont do refunds and no offer to send the missing items they advertise comes with it.

Think we have been misold

This company is a total SCAM.
They draw you in with a long sob story about people who do not exist and items that are mot real.

What a rip-off!! I thought I purchased a hand made tufted Tote and received a printed plastic bag instead. Buyers beware !!! Would give them NO stars if I could. So disappointed.

Has anyone in the US disputed the charges? This is false advertising and product misrepresentation.
