Excellent service, knowledgeable staff
I usually buy my outdoor gear from the Bachli outlet. When I decided to do the St Jacobweg, I went to the store in Basel with my 2 hiking companions. We were mainly serviced by 3 sales people over a week. All 3 gave me excellent advice regarding shoes (all 3 advised against hiking shoes but suggested trail running shoes for the weight and cushiness). 1 helped with our backpack selection. My one friend purchased her shoe at another known store and ran back to ask the Bachli sales person whether she made the right choice. He honestly said “yes”. I’ve done 2 of the 4 stages (we got rained out and will return as soon as it gets sunny). The trail running shoes were perfect... no blisters, no pain at all. The backpack seemed like I wasn’t carrying anything. I highly recommend their service. The sales people were knowledgeable, never looked down on us, and for women... they didn’t “mansplain”😀

They were fast in getting the coat to the right store
