BA Financial is highly NOT recommended !!!

BA Financial is not a company I can suggest you use. Notice the customer complaint theme here. Read the reviews. Those who are dissatisfied all claim the same issue. They do not completely represent your business. Have they used "tortious interference" as a tactic to to convince you to stop paying others and instead redirect that money to them to create a settlement fund? Tortious interference is probably illegal. Have they contacted all of the loan companies listed on your Debtors list in your contract? Have they instructed you to not talk to or answer communications from those lenders. If the "negotiators" haven't contacted the loan companies will this only escalate while you re-direct funds to RAM where it will NEVER be returned. Did you know that RAM has been sued for illegal activities? Go to consumerfinace.gov web page read it yourself.
Notice how BA Financial says their contract is fulfilled and all monies received by them are forfeit. OK, so if that's the case did they continue the services for which they received money? I guess if you've paid all of the fees associated and you don't continue having your bank account drained then they have dropped you as a client and use the NSF as an excuse to do so. Whereby, according to them you are not entitled to representation nor refund. Look for your legal rights. We cannot allow these companies to use questionable psychological methods to give us what could be considered legal malpractice advice, abuse our trust, and help guide us in a way which is detrimental to our continued survival. I urge you to seek remedy if you want to see justice done here and stop any improper practices from going forward. I took time to write this in hopes of stopping you from making a terrible mistake that you will regret forever.

I was forced to give 1 star but wished it could have been negative 5 stars!

Stay away!!!!

I was under the impression that B&A Financial was paying my debt to Pinnacle via the RAM account they created but learned they only sent them $900 of $17k. They ended up seizing my accounts and the saddest part of it I found out while attempting to pay my dad’s funeral arrangements, literally after I placed a suit on his deceased body. I was not able to properly bury my father as all my accounts were seized.

They all basically stole over $11k from me and had the audacity to be rude with me in my time of bereavement. Looking back, I could have paid this myself, so much for credit counseling service. They are more interested in stealing than counseling.

They will mislead you about their fees and services.

Here is a summary of my account, I still ended up paying Pinnacle $24k (I incurred a $7k penalty due to B&A negligence to pay Pinnacle).

Hello Chad,

I reviewed your file and the chain of events that occurred during your time of enrollment are not mentioned. Your dedicated negotiator reached an agreeable settlement with Pinnacle on 5/10/23 which was presented and agreed by you. The initial payment of $900 was submitted on 5/25/23. Your program payment on 6/2/23 NSF due to stop payment. Joe reached out to you between 6/7/23 until your file was terminated on 7/27/23 to resolve it. Calls, emails and texts were sent out to you in an attempt of resolution. You remained unresponsive until 6/23/23. You had a conversation with your dedicated account manager at that time, Joe, who reviewed with you what will happen following a defaulted settlement. Instead of cancelling you out with B&A Financial, we granted you the grace period without payments for you to determine how you would proceed with the program. On the last call with Joe on 7/27/23 you detailed that you worked something out directly with Pinnacle and that you were going to pay them $2K/month. Joe made you aware that you did not owe anything further to B&A Financial and that your file would be closed out with us. Consequently, your file with B&A Financial was closed on 7/27/23 following your conversation with Joe that day.

To give you more information in regards to the settlement with Pinnacle the balance at the time of settlement was $22,983.04 and it was settled for $12,650. The payment plan was for 6 months. We sent the 1st payment for the settlement in the amount of $900 on 5/25/23 and it was set up on a monthly payment plan with 5 remaining payments of $2,350 a month. The payments were to be made from your escrow account. Unfortunately, you did end up defaulting the settlement with us due to lack of payments. The last cleared payment to B&A was on 5/26/23 and payments stopped coming in after that point. The last time we attempted to draft a payment was on 6/02/23 which did come back as a stopped payment.

The way the program works is that when we establish a settlement with one of your lenders it’s important to maintain your weekly payments so that when the time comes to send out a settlement payment there are sufficient funds in your escrow for us to send each payment out. Since we did not collect payments throughout the month of June and July, we could not maintain the agreement that was in place.

During your time of enrollment, our company met our obligation to you as our client, and per the contract you signed there is no refund as we have done our due diligence and executed a settlement with Pinnacle in good faith and with your permission. The occurrences following that, do not reflect our performance and it is ultimately due to your affordability.

Stealing from the elderly....

This company enrolled an elderly family member who is barely lucid. They stole $16K from him and did nothing at all. If they have done this to an elderly person I can only imagine all the other people out there. The best way to shut this company down is to complain directly to the New Jersey Attorney Generals office they are aware of them. call 602-292-4925

B&A financial and the team at Caridi…

B&A financial and the team at Caridi Law were a great help to me and my business. I thought I would have to declare bankruptcy due to my merchant cash advances l, but B&A were able to get me into new payment plans with a significantly lower balance, and were there to answer every question I had along the way.
