NOT WHAT I ORDERED

I ordered the protective cover for my Apple Watch… however even it arrived it was not the one I ordered… as you can imagine I was most disappointed now I have to attend to return it which I have tried and is proving very difficult.
I will never use this company again

I’m terrible at online shopping

I’m terrible at online shopping. I get anxious and confused over the payments. Despite this, Gary was extremely patient and helpful throughout the purchase. I now have the Milanese loop band and it is light as a feather, lets your skin breathe and looks great. 100% recommendation.

Inconsistent quality

I’ve bought from Bakers Bands before but wanted a new strap for my summer holiday. I had only had it for a couple of weeks or so and the strap failed whilst I was on a zip line. It was a nylon sport loop with Velcro fastenings that I thought would be very secure. Fortunately my watch was found by the zip team abseiling into the forest below but my watch case has been damaged. The strap had pulled away from the plastic fitting that slides into the watch case. I raised this with customer service. I have had no communication as such but received first an email order for a replacement band at nil cost and further to a second complaint by me a refund of my order. I have received the replacement band today and it is apparent that the two straps are not the same and the new one appears to be better quality. I’d say order with caution as this firm appears to use different suppliers with different quality goods even for the same strap designs and colours. I’m left with a damaged smart watch and not even an apology from the firm.

Despite the reply below, I’ve still not received any actual communication from customer services. It’s a shame I cannot add any photos because it is very clear the 2 straps are not the same - the colour of the Velcro and the plastic fittings are very different.

First class service throughout

First class service throughout. Ordered 4 watch straps of which one for for granddaughter which required links to be removed, emailed Gary at Baker Bands asking for instructions on how to do this, I received an immediate reply advising that he would send out tool free of charge. In the interim granddaughter decided this type of strap was too clumsy for her so I started the return process and order a replacement. Was advised that the replacement would be sent out FOC and that they did not want the original returned.
I cannot but praise Gary and Baker Bands enough.

Excellent service

Excellent service. We had a problem with a band and it was replaced immediately with no quibbles or back and forth communication. We have ordered a couple of times and will definitely be ordering again. There is a great choice of style and price. Highly recommend.

Very helpful customer services

Ordered two straps for my Apple Watch Series 10 - they was a little bit delayed due to Royal Mail, I contacted customer services where a very helpful representative called Gary immediately dispatched two further straps due to postage delays, the true test of a company is when things go wrong and they acted immediately and I am very happy with my straps. Would recommend highly

Fab customer service - I ordered wrong size face covers for Apple Watch - promptly dealt with and sorted. Love the watch straps and protective covers - highly recommend this company - love being able to personalise my lovely watch.

Wrong Item sent

I bought 6 straps for me and my husband. One was the incorrect strap.
Contacted them 3 times but no response in 3 weeks?

Lovely item, swift delivery and great customer service!

Lovely item (leather watch strap)lovely colour, delivered quickly and safely. Excellent customer service as contacted them to ask for a different size instead of what I’d ordered, they responded very quickly and sent the right size immediately. Would buy from again without hesitation.

Disappointed

Disappointed with Communication and Delivery Issues

On the 9th of June, I placed an order with Baker’s Bands, requesting a 2-3 working day delivery via Royal Mail.

I requested tracking information, but it was not provided in the email I received in response. Instead, they simply confirmed that the order should be delivered on Thursday or Friday. As of today (16th June), the order has still not been delivered.

I have sent two separate emails since the original request and a message via Instagram, but I have yet to receive a response.

I would caution others to consider alternative options if timely delivery and clear communication are important to them.

17th June update - email received but does not mention anything regarding a replacement order - if you are sending then can I suggest you use a service that is next business day and not Royal Fail - if you cannot do this then please issue refund.

Fab stainless steel Apple Watch straps…

The stainless steel Apple Watch straps I have bought from this site, in different colours for myself and as gifts, have been great. Easy to adjust and fit with the wee tool.
I had to contact customer service and they resolved my query quickly.

Great Trader!

The very best test of a company is of how they behave when one of those little mistakes occur. They happens to everyone and to every trader.

The wrong band was dispatched (close but not close enough). It was put right immediately and the correct band arrived the very next day. My confidence in Bakers Bands was, as a result, greater than it was before the mistake happened.

Bought two bands

Bought two bands, 1 for series 7 and an Ocean copy for Ultra two - both Apple Originals had worn out and needed changing- @£85 a strap I looked for something else- and @ almost £50 less - the Baker Bands copy looks and feels identical, - delivery time was excellent and so were swift replies to questions via email - I have no problem giving a 5* review!

Broken strap and no communication

I have had a watch strap for less than two months which broke over a week over. I’ve emailed twice to the email address posted on other reviews with no reply or even acknowledgement. I have tried contacting via social media which just says to email. Not impressed and now had to pay another company for a new strap. Wouldn’t recommend or be back to use again.

Responding to the reply from the company. I’ve not had any email or sign of a refund so not sure where the email has gone.
